Man Sought In Shooting Over $1 In Delaware January 4, 2013 1:41 PM (credit: John Li/Getty Images) WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware are searching for a suspect who shot a man over a dollar. The shooting happened at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on North Spruce Street in Wilmington. According to investigators, a 22-year-old male was lost and was standing outside his car when he was approached by the suspect. Police say the suspect asked the victim for a dollar and when the victim refused, the suspect displayed a handgun and shot the victim in the lower part of his body. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim and then ran away on foot. The victim was taken to by a personal car to Wilmington Hospital in an unknown condition. The suspect is described as a black male, between 50-60 years-of-age, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, a dark cap and jeans. I have bailed them out of jail and paid their fines for too long,and I'm not going to do it anymore." This man STILL gets up early every morning,and is at work doing something 6 days a week. Even at his age. If I were to call him and ask him to come to my house to help me with something,he'd be right here. Just like I would for him. Last time I saw and talked with him was in August,and he was sweating like a priest at a Cub Scout meeting while breaking down split truck rims to put new tires on one of his dump trucks.
