School Obama's Daughters Attend Has 11 Armed Guards

The school, Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC, has 11 security officers and is seeking to hire a new police officer as we speak.

If you dismiss this by saying, "Of course they have armed guards -- they get Secret Service protection," then you've missed the larger point.

The larger point is that this is standard operating procedure for the school, period. And this is the reason people like NBC's David Gregory send their kids to Sidwell, they know their kids will be protected from the carnage that befell kids at a school where armed guards weren't used (and weren't even allowed).

Shame on President Obama for seeking more gun control and for trying to prevent the parents of other school children from doing what he has clearly done for his own. His children sit under the protection guns afford, while the children of regular Americans are sacrificed.

********************************

Armed Guards Good for David Gregory’s Kids’ School, Not for the Rest of Us

Washington DC - -(Ammoland.com)- After the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre spoke on Friday calling for armed guards and trained teachers in every school — and offering the NRA’s services to make it happen — NBC’s David Gregory went apoplectic.

On Meet The Press on Dec. 23, he mocked the assertion that armed guards should be placed in schools. He did this by accusing LaPierre of turning a blind eye to Gregory’s belief that guns are part of the problem rather than the solution.

Gregory’s kids, however, go to school at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., a school that is not only looking to hire a new police officer, but which also has 11 security personnel already on staff, some of whom are police officers.

Yet even though Gregory sends his kids to a school were they benefit from armed guards, here’s what he said to Wayne LaPierre:

But you would conceded that as good of an idea as you think [armed guards at schools] is, it may not work. Because there have been cases where armed guards have not prevented this kind of massacre, this kind of carnage. I want you would concede that point, wouldn’t you?

Note to David Gregory: The point we would like you to concede is one regarding the duplicity of arguing against armed guards for the children of everyday Americans, while children of NBC News anchors enjoy the safety security personnel with guns provide in their schools. (3 images)

Yeah, but that's different. The children of people like Obummer and David Gregory are more important than your kids. If they weren't,they wouldn't be going there.

BTW,wouldn't you just LOVE to see the NAACP file a discrimination law suit against Sidwell for not having "enough" minority and poor children enrolled?

Not that this will ever happen because they know what will happen to their tax-free status if they piss off the elites by highlighting their hypocrisy.

YOU are missing the point that our government obviously thinks money is important enough to guard with armed guards, but our children aren't.

WHEN was Cheney ever elected president?

AND,IIRC,he had no children in school while he was working out of the WH.

Now,define the word "entourage" as it applies to Cheney, name names, and then tell us what special protections the children of these "entourage" members received.

It doesn't matter because if he did have children of school age they would have each had their SS detail just like Obama's do. The Vice President and his family are treated security wise much like the President and his family.

My 16 yo goes to Redmond High.

Redmond, WA is a really, really nice place. High income. Low crime.

Redmond High has a Redmond Police Officer stationed at the school full time.

Yes, he's mostly there because of drugs, but he's a real cop, with a gun, and his job is to show up at the school every day.

It's been estimated that we could put a real police officer in every school in the country for $8 billion a year. It's about as much money as Chuck Schumer wastes shitting out special interest subsidies each year.

Why aren't we doing this???

You are lucky to live close to such lovely animals. I miss working with horses day to day. We used to own a beautiful green hunter named Christian General. I miss that gelding.

It wasn't until I got to the West Coast and would go riding horses out here thay have to rent. That is where I met my first mules and found out how intensely smart they are.

Why they became the standard mascot for the Democrats is beyond me in light of that. :)

LOL! That's true, about cats. But the mules are not ours, locals pay to stable and pasture their critters with us. One year, we had 4 Clydesdale horses and a foe, now that was awesome. I'm still hoping one of our neighbors will need more pasture land for his buffalo.
