But you won't see anybody, particularly anybody on the 'left', even daring to mention the real problem (the hero of the 'left' is Susan Rice, leader of the Progressives for Civilian Carpet Bombing, with 'Responsibility to Protect' being the latest version of the White Man's Burden excuses for the violence of imperialism). The issues raised are just too challenging to the power structure. Let me get this straight. Teachers are lazy, parasitical union thugs who want to convert our kids to atheism, homosexuality, and socialism but they should all pack heat and protect our kids from armed lunatics. Of course. Why didn’t I think of that? Uh, will the guns be supplied, or do the teachers have to buy their own? What if the teacher goes nuts and wants to shoot up his own class? Shouldn’t the kids all be armed for that eventuality? Maybe they should, but what about kids whose parents are too poor to buy them guns? Should they get some kind of voucher or something? I think every school needs to be concertina fenced complete with manned guard towers or kiosks in every line of site and sally ports to check everything incoming and outgoing. Since he broke a window to get in, then they need the reinforced type using glass that only emits light not images. And every classroom able to be locked behind students.........For starters.
