A newly released color photo showing injuries sustained by George Zimmerman during his altercation with Trayvon Martin, which ended up with Zimmerman shooting the 17-year-old dead, could prove that the killing was an act of self-defense and that media coverage of the story was an exercise in manufactured race-baiting.
Lawyers for George Zimmerman believe that a newly released color photo of injuries their client sustained during his fatal altercation with Trayvon Martin and an alleged conversation involving Martins father create doubts about the strength of the murder case against the former neighborhood watch captain, reports ABC News.
Zimmerman has maintained that he shot Martin in an act of self-defense after screaming for help and being pummeled by the teen. An image of the back of Zimmermans head obtained by ABC News also shows blood.
The Trayvon Martin case quickly became a cause célèbre for liberal talking heads who tried to hijack the murky details of the incident to play the race card, immediately jumping to the conclusion that Martin was a victim of racially-inspired violence including Barack Obama himself who infamously stated, If I had a son, hed look like Trayvon.
Todays newly released image only serves to bolster Zimmermans claim that he was acting in self-defense and that his decision to shoot Martin was not racially-driven.

Everyone already knew that Obama's son needed killing. It was self defense.
Zimmerman deserves a Nobel Peace Prize more than Obumma.
