“Really? The Republican Party is going to fall on its sword to defend a bunch of millionaires, half of whom voted Democratic and half of them live in Hollywood?” he said. "It won't kill the country if we raise taxes a little bit on millionaires," Kristol added. "It really won't, I don't think. I don't really understand why Republicans don't take Obama's offer." Kristol said that Republicans would eventually have to compromise on taxes, which is set to be one of the major fights in a budget deal. The Bush-era tax cuts are set to expire at the end of the year. Obama wants to extend the tax cuts on incomes fewer than $250,000, thereby raising taxes on any incomes above that level. Congressional Republicans want to extend them for all incomes. "I think Republicans will have to give in much more than they think," Kristol said, because "elections have consequences." Bill Kristol needs to man up, and admit that he's just another neocon whore, asking us to spread our asscheeks like HE does every day. All I want, is to see him and his ilk PAY for their treachery.
When have they ever? Only 30% of the population supported the Revolutionary War. In 1828 (the first year records were kept), only 57% of the voting age population turned out to vote. That's about the same percentage that turned out this year. Voter turnout has only reached 80% three times (including 1860). It's been lower than 50% three times (1920, 1924, and 1996). In the 20th century, turnout has generally been between 50% and 60%, with few exceptions.
The Kabuki theater has gone on for far to long... no thanks in small part to sheeple like you, who continue to fall for the "lesser of two evils" bullshit. One day you'll grow up, and realize that you don't have any friends, in any "establishment" political party. Don't pretend you're now concerned with voter turnout. Next presidential election- if we have one in 2016- you'll be more than happy to line up behind whatever piece of shit the GOP offers up... and you'll once again mouth the platitudes (lesser of two evils), while you kiss Republican ASS. Your words are empty, your observations have no value... Because you lack the weapon that matters most; courage. I SHIT on you, and all the other cowards who allow this charade to continue.
