The election results have caused me to rethink how we all can help the country get back on track without relying on politics and elections. Back in the 1980s, my ex-wife boycotted McDonald's for two years because Ray Kroc's wife gave $1 million to the Democrat National Committee after Ray passed away.
It was a good idea then. It's a better idea now.
No more paying $9 to see any more Hollywood movies in theaters. I can wait until they show up on the basic cable channels.
No more paying for songs on iTunes from leftist musicians. I can listen to the radio or Pandora for free.
I have a Jeep and a Chrysler van. No more buying GM or Chrysler bailout cars. In fact, no more buying cars made by union employees at all. From now on, I'll buy Volkswagens made in Tennessee or BMW's made in South Carolina by non-union employees.
No more government monopoly schools. My youngest daughter started pre-K at a Catholic school in September. No, this won't save me any tax money, but I will no longer voluntarily expose my kids to unionized teachers' nonsense.
On and on...
After the last 4 years, I've just had it. With the re-election of the most anti-business President in U.S. history, it's time for a new approach.
Obama can steal as much money as he wants from me in taxes, but I will no longer voluntarily buy anything from anyone associated with the left. PERIOD.
It's time to defund these people. Every one of them.
