AP Today's results reflect polling from last Wednesday through yesterday, so there is no data in the aftermath of last night's debate, which went much better for the president. But Romney also took a 2-point lead among registered voters, a measure that has been more favorable to the president in Gallup's polling. That means Romney has swung the race 7 points in that measure — before the first debate, Obama led Romney by 5 points among registered voters. On Tuesday, Romney led Obama 50-46 among likely voters, hitting the crucial 50-percent mark for the first time in the race. Obama's approval rating stayed at 49 percent, which is below the "safe" 50 percent threshold for an incumbent's re-election. By Gallup's historical standards, it would take a truly historical comeback at this point for Obama. Since Gallup started tracking in 1936, the only eventual president to mount a comeback down 6 points on Oct. 17 was Ronald Reagan. Reagan, however, was behind 6 points among registered voters.

I read an article somewhere that predicts Romney will win by 13 or more, but that won't be reflected in the final results because of massive Democrat voter fraud.... It said the final results will be 5 points or less...

I'm confident that the Republicans can match or exceed them. Bush's reelection couldn't have been legit, could it? I'm hoping that the voters aren't that stupid.

I'm hoping that the voters aren't that stupid. I have no doubt that both sides do it, it's just that the one side has to do more just to stand a chance of being elected.. Some people are just voting because they would rather have the lesser of two evils... What gets me is why "ONLY" do that instead of making their voices heard and tell the parties they want "GOOD" candidates instead of the Pieces of Schitt both sides rolls out every 4 years... Truthfully I think the only way the voters will get the point across is to start shooting some of the lousier candidates, and then leave a note beside the body that says "For crimes against the citizens of the USA"...
