This year’s holiday season should be the best job market for seasonal workers in five years, according to an annual study commissioned by Snagajob, the Richmond-based hourly employment network.

The survey, conducted by IPSOS Public Affairs, found that 63 percent of hiring managers will make seasons hires this year, compared to 51 percent last year. In addition, hiring managers plan to add an average of 6.1 workers during the holidays, compared with 4.1 workers last year.

These hiring managers are also predicting more robust spending. “For the past few seasons, we’ve had to talk about ‘incremental improvements’ being expected in holiday hiring,” Jason Hamilton, vice president of marketing for Snagajob, said in a statement. “But this year, there are strong indications that there should be substantial movement in getting us back to the kinds of holiday hiring levels we were accustomed to prior to the recession. Doing the math, our survey shows that 24 percent more hiring managers are hiring this season, and hiring managers, on average, are planning to hire about 50 percent more people. Those indicators taken together point to a vastly improved seasonal job market. ”

The survey, which included 1,000 hiring managers, said that 57 percent of hiring managers expected to complete their holiday hires by the end of October.

much as i don't like the analogy much this really seems like a real life "jeffersons" re-creation.

thankfully alan west is reasonably young and vibrant --- in spite of the magazine of crap this dog and his slag have given the buck tooth crowd, there may still be a spot for someone like west. this turd in office has done more to draw down race relations to the point though i fear people might judge a "west type" as nothing more than a person of color.

spit on this bastard and his bitch wife.

look back on my history back in 08 and 09 .....i reaaaaaalllllllyy wanted to like this guy.

can't even listen to his phoney cadenced voice any more. i turn him off pretty much after the first 5 words no matter where he pops up.

Allen West backers continue to rail against 'liberal Republicans' in redistricting spat

AUGUST 03, 2012

Fans of Rep. Allen West, including Rush Limbaugh, have been complaining for months that Tallahassee Republicans purposefully redrew his district to include more Democrats. Today, the assertion is being used to raise money for West.

"Liberal Republicans and liberal Democrats have teamed up to defeat America's best Congressman. Will please make a special generous contribution of $35, $50, $100, $250 or more to help reelect Congressman Allen West?" reads a solicitation from Black America's Political Action Committee.

House Speaker Will Weatherford, who oversaw the redistricting effort, has denied any attempt to hurt West. "I personally have supported and endorsed Allen West," he told the Buzz in January. "I will continue to support this extraordinary member of Congress who has brought a much needed conservative voice to Washington, D.C. However, my personal support cannot and will not trump the Constitution.”

The fundraising message goes on to say:

Here is what Allen is up against:

The liberal GOP establishment first redrew Allen's district to make it more liberal.

These same liberals then recruited a left-wing "Republican in Name Only" to run against him in the primary.

Then, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama made Allen their number one target for defeat in the House of Representatives this year and recruited a tough, well- funded Democrat opponent.

Bill Maher, the "comedian" who is one of Barack Obama's biggest donors, is even getting involved. He just called Congressman Allan West an APE!

Now both the RINOs and every crazy left-wing group in America are gunning for Allen West.

That's why BAMPAC is going all out to support our good friend. We are going to pay for phone banks, ads, mailings and whatever Allan needs in order to make sure he wins this primary and gets reelected this fall.
