In Southern Thailand Muslim gunmen continue killing and threatening innocent citizens. The Muslim insurgents have threatened to kill 20 teachers and have distributed fliers that said, “WANTED: 20 Deaths of Buddhist teachers.” Muslim terrorists object to the education system which teaches Buddhist culture that is not acceptable in Islam. The attacks are intended to force Buddhists to leave the region because Muslims want to create an independent Muslim nation in the three southern provinces.

I travel alot to se Asia and we have a contract mfg outside of Bangkok.....so since you mentioned it.....back when thaksin was in power the Thai military was feared in pattani / narithiwat. If you were a Moslem ahole you had to fear extrajudicial actions.....you'd stand a good chance of being hunted down and executed / disappered. It worked well. Then the feel good crew rolled in to start negotiating and appeasing. Viola.......Moslems are reverting to their vile beastly ways again. Meanwhile......oilbomber et al are rushing our kid's money over to the middle east for new "aid".
