Title: Romney Pulls a Palin at a NASCAR Race!

I'm gonna miss Mittens. The comic relief he's provided has been priceless. It's been one gaffe after another. And you'd think his incompetent staff would have learned by now, but nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Pardon me, do you have some Grey Poupon?

Mittens spent the afternoon desperately trying to act like a guy you'd like to have a non-alcoholic beer with, handing out FREE hot dogs at a NASCAR race in Richmond, Virginia.

If you remember. earlier this year, Romney really screwed up, insulting working class NASCAR fans by making fun of their poor rain jackets and saying he didn't follow NASCAR but had dear friends who owned NASCAR racing teams.

A competent campaign staff, knowing Mittens is genetically gaffe prone ("My dad was brainwashed in Viet Nam") and unable to interact with regular people would keep Romney away from the public, but these clowns (no offense to Bozo) never learn.

So today they trotted Mittens out to a NASCAR event for the sequel: Gaffe Theft Auto II.

He was asked who was his favorite NASCAR driver, and he replied, ..... wait for it.... "I've got a lot of drivers I like. Thanks." Source.

BWHWHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH

You could here the echo of Palin saying, "all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years", when she was asked what newspapers do you read.

If you are going to show up to a baseball game or football game, you can expect someone to ask you, what is your favorite team, who is your favorite player. It's basic. And yet, they couldn't even prep Mittens for this.

And even if you don't know a single thing about NASCAR, you could have answered Danica Patrick. How could he not know about her!?!?!?!? She's ubiquitous with her Super Bowl ads and various interviews.

I guess Lady Ann hasn't told Mitty that a woman race car driver exists. Meanwhile, Lady Ann was holding a white-working-class rally at ..... wait for it..... the Twin Oaks Riding Academy (source). Hahahahahhahahahhahahahhahhahahahahhahahahhaha. You couldn't make this satire up if you tried.

This is a weird presidential race. On the old Republican forum front I deal with, Sally-Lox is more concerned with paying back Ron Paul supporters than helping build support for the dim-brained Willard. And Rim Job is worse, not better with his source the Earth under any Willard support at his pop stand. The center of gravity of Internet influence has surely shifted to Twitter and other interface politics with the Internet more friendly to smart phones and Ipads. (2 images)

I don't see how it's not obvious by now that Sally is a Democrat and keeps LP open in order to try and demoralize conservatives and make the conservative movement look bad. That is why she allows faux conservatives like yukon, Gatlin, harrowup, Grand Island, etc. to destroy her site.

What should give it away is when she makes ridiculous and absurd comments about yukon and company being conservative.

Conservatives don't follow admitted and outspoken Democrats like harrowup from thread to thread agreeing with every leftist position he/she takes.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. When Sally moved to Florida, she began going to a far left, activist synagogue. As an unmarried, unattractive, and obese female convert to Judaism desperate to fit in, she changed her political beliefs in order to be accepted. yukon and company are likely synagogue members whom Sally is afraid to confront in any meaningful way.

Goldi might be uptight and a bit of a control freak. But she isn't a democrat or a liberal.

Let's see, she's pro-perpetual war, pro-big government, and pro-police state.

She runs interference for a group of hardcore leftists, one of which proudly admits to being a Democrat.

She's a convert to a religion that is known for not easily accepting converts and is known to be majority Democrat in a state filled with far left, North East Jews.

Sounds like a liberal Democrat to me.

Candidate on Virginia Ballot Poses Worry for Romney

WASHINGTON — Virgil Goode, the presidential nominee for the conservative Constitution Party, qualified Tuesday for Virginia’s ballot in November, complicating Mitt Romney’s chances of winning the key swing state. Polls show a tightly contested race between Mr. Romney and President Obama.

The Virginia State Board of Elections announced Tuesday that Mr. Goode’s name would appear third on the ballot, following the Republican and Democratic presidential nominees. At the same time, the board asked Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II, the state’s Republican attorney general, to investigate Republican allegations that Mr. Goode’s party used fraudulent signatures to qualify for the election.

“Candidate Romney, before he continues campaigning, should read the First Amendment about free speech and the right to petition,” Mr. Goode said Tuesday. “They’re afraid true conservatives will vote for me.”

The Republican Party of Virginia vowed to continue its fight to knock Mr. Goode’s name off the ballot before voters go to the polls. Pat Mullins, the party chairman in Virginia, accused Mr. Goode of “systemic problems” in his signature petitions worthy of a criminal investigation.

“These problems display, at best, a stunning disregard for Virginia law,” Mr. Mullins said.

For now, Republicans, must figure out how to handle their new presidential competitor. Mr. Goode, a former congressman, may not win many votes, but in a close election they may have outsize significance. “I look at it today as unimportant, but in November it could be very important, ” said Kyle Kondik, a political analyst at the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics. “In a close race, almost anything could matter.”

But Mr. Kondik said he would be “shocked” if Mr. Goode captured 5 percent of the state’s votes. If either major party candidate builds even a slim lead, Mr. Goode’s place on the ballot will become meaningless.

Mr. Goode could have the greatest impact in the Congressional district he represented for 12 years. His district ran south from Charlottesville to the North Carolina border, including conservative havens near Lynchburg and Roanoke.

A former Democrat, turned independent, turned Republican, Mr. Goode was swept out of the House in 2008 by a Democrat, Tom Perriello, who then lost to a Republican, Robert Hurt, two years later.

Mr. Goode is running as a conservative populist who favors balancing the budget far faster than Mr. Romney does. He would halt all immigration — including green card applications — until national unemployment reaches 5 percent.

Mr. Goode said he would try to stretch his shoestring campaign beyond Virginia. His name will appear on ballots in about 25 states, and on write-in ballots elsewhere. He will visit Ohio in the coming days, and has rallies planned for October in Florida and Georgia.

Mr. Goode said, “We want to get as many votes nationally as possible, and I hope before Election Day, Americans will look at Romney and Obama and realize they are controlled by millionaires and billionaires, and say you know what, we don’t want either one of them.”

She might as well be a Democrat, her site works to help President Obama win in November.

I warned my sister who had just been in in game on WOW and Entropia Universe games with me for many years now that forums are fun but often don't make much sense. That you never convert fellow posters, just influence lurkers, and forum owners are usually insane, shallow and ignorant.

I guess she was really angry for the first time this morning posting in LP and I told her congratulations, and that I had told her you can't do this without being pissed off and having to perpetually deal with severe and extreme ignorance.

I told her the anger made her posts better this morning, but that was no consolation to her. She did say that I was right, that bad as this place is that eLPee could and often is much worse.

I don't think she'll sign on here though. I get pissed at Stone and then cool off. She gets pissed and vindictive and stays that way; sometimes forever.

Women usually are weaker physically, but that doesn't mean that in other ways they don't tend to be more dangerous. ;-D

Goldie's a jack booted thug statist, globalist leftie bushbot for sure! Not a conservative bone in her body. As weird as Ferret is, he's more conservative than her.

Here is a pizza joint owner giving a friendly bear hug and lift to President Obama. Obviouisly he doesn't care what shit falls off him to contaminate the food. ;-D

I noticed too that the Daily KOS didn't go with a picture of that black man's Romney shirt most the media carried, but chose one where he was blocked by dumb shit as he ate shit he would avoid like the plague if he were not running for office.

Do you know what is the most interesting thing about the Obama bear hug? Both Democrats and Republicans have had an angry and intolerant reaction to it for different reasons.

Everyone today has an intolerance for tolerance. It is "play by my rules or die" with everyone. The duality of the people who get angry at a simple restaurateur for liking someone in either a 'disrespectful' or 'too friendly' way to the point both want to do him in is a weirdness I could never emulate, mon ami.

He is being boycotted by everyone, by both sides.

I strongly believe everyone should get along with one another at a foundational level. Voltaire said, "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to death your right to say it."

I don't like pizza, but were I where this place it, I would give this man my business. Not because he hugged Obama, but because both sides hate him, and it would be my way or disassociating with such a completely self destructive intolerance.

It is the only way to stay centered. It is the only way to keep focus and a good perspective on life.

Light does not have power without a dark, heat can't be appreciated by cold; every conservative or liberal belief and doctrine needs an opposite to exist, or there is really nothing there. The political and social struggles and triumphs of humankind largely loose their raison d'etre. N'est-ce pas, mec? LOL.
