United States News Title: Romney/Ryan or Bust! Truth is the new hate speech.Creeping Sharia We [the people] own this country.Clint Eastwood I feel like I ought to start out each of my articles anymore with a disclaimer, or caveat saying something along the lines of WARNING: The contents of this article are to be considered null and void in the event of a Reichstag Fire, false flag event, and/or an invasion by Russian Spetsnaz in collusion with Northcom,or words to that effect. My intent is not to make light of such concerns, as God knows we have reason enough to be more than a bit edgy these dayswhat with the Patriot Act, NDAA, the torrent of Obama EOs (Executive Orders), various government agencies stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo, and other such things. Personally, I am what you might call a cynical optimistI hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I keep myself open to the idea that the US can peacefully pull itself out of the colossal mess that it is currently mired inbut I have enough guns, ammo, freeze dried food and whatnot to open a small survivalist store. Be that as it maythe main topic that I wish to address in this article is my decision to back the Romney/Ryan ticket, and the fallout from that. Contrary to what some of you may think, I have not rushed off and enlisted in the Dark Side. I am as opposed to the Big Bank/ Big Corporation/Big Government/Big War cabal as ever. Trust me when I tell you that my (muted) anger at the establishment is alive and well. My personal Outrage Meter red-lined, pegged-out and broke some time agoso I cannot tell you exactly how pissed off I am these days. Spitting-nails mad, I suspect. I decided many years ago, however, that letting other people, and situations beyond my control, determine how I felt was only leaving me open to constantly having the world push my buttons and pull my strings. I decided that letting other people and outside events dictate how I felt was a lousy way to live, so I stopped blaming them for how I felt, and assumed personal responsibility for my feelings and attitudes. This is all by way of saying that although the actions of the federal government, our judicial system, the MSM, Congress, etcetera, have given me innumerable reasons to be outraged; I refuse to walk around 24/7 with gritted teeth and seething anger. Not only does being locked and loaded all the time lead to ulcers, but much more importantly it blocks access to my spirit, and to God. If the need should arise for prompt action, I know how to put on my game face, and flip the internal switches that will get me frosty in a heartbeat. I feel no need to constantly live in a sort of DEFCON 2 mode. Consequently, I have trained myself to let go of my anger when it arises (and believe me, it does), and replace it with a deep-seated resolve. I have transmuted the anger I felt (feel) at the despicable way that the GOP elites and the cabal-run MSM treated Ron Paul, into a resolve to do my best to see to it that Dr. Pauls respect for the US Constitution becomes commonplace once again in America. But first things first, and the first thing that we the people should be concerned with is getting Obama out of the White House. And that means using the current political system that we have at handyou know; the corrupt, cynically manipulated one? If the Republican Party does not clean house with vigor, and rediscover what true conservatism is all about, then a third party will become a necessity for the 2016 Presidential racebut not today, not now. We would only be shooting ourselves in the foot. If you do not vote for Romney this November, then you will, in effect, be casting a vote for Obama. If you decide to sit this one out, and not vote, you are also in effect voting for Obamain the real world one less vote for Romney is the equivalent of one more vote for Obama. I sympathize with those of you who are less than enamored with the idea of Mitt Romney as POTUS, and/or who wish to register their disgust with the GOP by voting for a third party candidate (or by not voting at all)but do you really want to chance four more years of the Obama Administration? We the people are not facing some sort of Hobbesian choice here, where one candidate is politically indistinguishable from the other. While Mitt Romney may not be anyones idea of a staunch conservative, he is certainly no Barack Obamafar from it. For one thing, I do not sense in Romney that aura of righteous duplicity that Obama radiates like isotopes flying off plutonium. Nor have I seen in Romney any of that subtle yet telling disconnect with the American experience that Obama sometimes shows. And I think I speak for many when I say that I would rather chance an invasion by Mormons than continue to watch an influx of Islamist agents provocateurs filtering into our country and government. (A President Romney had dn well better put an end to this dangerous and treasonous permissiveness). In closing, let me say that it will be interesting to see how the MSM covers the home stretch of the 2012 Presidential race. Will they continue with their in-your-face promotion of the liberal agenda, or will they attempt to cover up again under a sham cloak of neutrality? The MSM propaganda machine will in all probability retreat back a bit from the openly partisan stance it adopted during the Obama years, but we the people have now seen their true colors, and those colors are not red, white, and blue. We will not forget. Romney/Ryan 2012!

Good article. I'm afraid that once again the pragmatist is having it's way with me. Unless I see any movement or outside chance for a Paul/Johnson type to develop in to the flames of an all consuming wild fire across the land, I will be voting for..... please don't make me say it. But yeah, the one mentioned in this piece. Is it not better to retreat and reorganize to make a push that has a better chance at success rather than raising the white flag of surrender in one final swoop? Yes, I believe it is and I believe we will live to fight another day.

If the Republican Party does not clean house with vigor, and rediscover what true conservatism is all about The author has shot himself in the foot, and is happy about it because Obama didn't do it. They never will, if you keep voting for a-holes!
