Family Research Council Rampage: LGBT Activist Pleads Not Guilty by Ken Klukowski 24 Aug 2012 Floyd Corkins II, who allegedly attempted to go on a mass-shooting rampage at the Family Research Council on August 15, appeared in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia for his arraignment on felony charges Tuesday. The court informed 28 year-old Corkins was informed he had been indicted by a grand jury and will stand trial on three counts: (1) the federal felony of transporting a firearm across state lines with the intent to commit a crime, (2) the D.C. felony of assaulting someone with the intent to kill them while armed, and (3) the D.C. felony of using a firearm while committing a violent crime. He pleaded “not guilty” to all three counts, and the court ordered that he his confinement continue until trial. The case has been assigned to Judge Richard Roberts, assisted by U.S. Magistrate 42 post a comment
