...the only... explanation is that Ron Pauls libertarian party is trying to get Romney removed from the ballot for no reason other than to ensure that Obama gets reelected.
1.) The Libertarian Party already has a Presidential Candidate. His name is Gary Johnson. He is the ex-GOP Governor of New Mexico. Ron Paul is not going to be the Libertarian Party candidate for President.
2.) The GOP certainly did have a Senate candidate on the ballot in 2010. His name was Dino Rossi and he received 48% of the vote.
3.) The lawsuit is completely without merit. They are claiming that Dino Rossi was not nominated by the GOP. Patty Murray wasn't nominated by the Democrats either, because Washington changed how their elections are run. Parties no longer nominate their own candidates. All candidates from all parties appear on the same primary ballot and the two who receive the most votes face off in the general election. The old law was invalidated when Washington switched to the new primary system.
4.) The Libertarian Party of Washington State is a tiny little nothing group who couldn't even field one candidate on the August primary ballot. There were independent, Populist party, and Constitution party candidates on the ballot, but no Libertarian Party candidates.
Why do you post this nonsense without first doing a tiny little bit of research?
