It does't sound to me like God is done with the Hebrews, whether Jew or other Israelite.
The first great masses of people to accept Christ were Jews. Christ himself was a Jew.
And you mentioned a 'fake' state of Israel. Do you not believe that God is capable of using anything and everything to work his will? He got his message across to one guy using a talking ass. Oftentimes he used the enemies of the Hebrews to do what he wanted done. And when they mistreated his people, he took are of them, too! Nebuchadnezzar is an example of God's will being done inasmuch as he removed the Judahites from Judah. He can certainly use the UN to create what he, himself, had already determined was the land of the Israelites.
