The dog projected a set of moving images of the pitbull into my mind and I projected a set of moving images retracing my footsteps in the neighborhood back to the dog. It seemed instantaneous and in some respects involuntary and quite surprising, but we exchanged thoughts. The second time it happened I was less responsive to the animal who was simply at home alone and needed reassurance.
