Holder in Criminal Contempt of Congress; 17 Dems Support

by Breitbart News, 28 Jun 2012, 1:49 PM PDT

The House of Representatives, in a historic move, has voted Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for failure to produce subpoenaed documents in the investigation of Operation Fast and Furious.

The vote tallies were 255 yeas, 67 nays, and on present, and 110 Congressmen did not vote. The vote fell largely along party lines, with 17 Democrats voting yea and two Republicans--Scott Rigell (VA-2) and Steven C. LaTourette (OH-14)--voting nay. The Congressional Black Caucus, as promised, walked out of the vote.

White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer released a statement calling the contempt vote "political theater rather than legitimate Congressional oversight." Pfeiffer cited the use of gunwalking under George W. Bush's administration but did not make any reference to the family of slain border patrol agent Brian Terry or the hundreds of Mexican civilians killed by weapons sold to Mexican drug cartels through the Fast and Furious program.

"The Congressional Black Caucus, as promised, walked out of the vote"---- I wonder how many of them are up for re-election this fall???

Here's hoping the black caucus keeps on walking. Nancy Pelosi isn't grinning that stupid grin anymore either, I hope her nasty face melts off!

If the voters are paying attention that should be the case this fall...

Well I guess that's why she doesn't smoke.... I can just imagine what would happen if she got a lighter too close to her face!!!

My husband, son, and I were talking about this, and wondering what might happen next?

He believes that the Senate can issue an arrest warrant for Holder, and then it would be the duty of the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Senate to take Holder into custody, but that would be in the real world, not the twilight zone we're living in at the moment.

Twilight Zone doesn't quite describe it, but it's close....

yes i'd bet that could happen on a level field.

actually in my twilight zone i'd like to see that disgrace-to-his-race plantation boy first be tazed, maced, clubbed down then hogtied and dragged on his narrow ass out and off to spend the night getting stripped, butt searched by a gaykon clone like fireisland then hurled into a concrete holding pen with 10 other criminal tools.
