The ones in a position to push this will be getting just what they want,another reason to pump up the defense industry so the stocks and the dividends go up.
Not to mention the number of bags of cash delivered to offshore banking institutions.
It's all about the money,and not just for the stock holders. The congresscritters with defense industries in their districts that might be in danger of losing union jobs,votes,and contributions if we become lapse in going to war.
Not to mention the Israel-First lobby in the northeast,Florida,and in Hollywood. Cash contributions to any congresscritter that vows to defend Israel down to the last drop of Arab blood will be rolling in cash contributions.
Which means of course that we will NOT be able to leave Pakistan,and that we will have to be giving billions in military aid to Saudi Arabia,too.
Nobody wants peace but the people who suffer and die in wars,and that ain't NONE of the people I mentioned.
