Incredible footage showing about 100 sharks feeding on whale carcass along a beach in Northwest Australia was posted this week by Vimeo user Rachel Campbell. First thought: Not a safe place or time to venture into the water. Second thought: The young woman trying to be in the video, perhaps for the sake of perspective, seems on the verge of taking a consequential risk.
This raw display of nature was filmed near Warroora Station, according to the video tag.
Campbell writes: "Not the most comforting when you surf the reefs that they own. Some were tiger sharks, others were reef sharks. Some as long as 4m reminds us why we are afraid.
"Horrific yet intriguing."
