It probably chases readers off. People won't want to register. Of course, if you didn't post really provocatively titled threads you might not get more traffic anyway. This kind of material pretty much insures you make it onto the lists circulated by the hatewatch sites. Along with various agency lists.
I agree, we must present the Gospel with the Love of Christ. As Liberator will no doubt point out, many have on both this site and others tried that route with homosexuals presenting them the Gospel with kindness and gentleness. In every experience it is rejected with the same angry zeal you see in the photos you posted. Yet our commission is to present the Gospel with the Love of Christ. If the gentle approach does not work, then the focus shifts to warning them of the coming Judgment and how we do not want to see that happen to them, there is a Way and through Jesus Christ a life will be transformed no matter how bad. If the fire and brimstone does not work in witnessing, then you try one more time with the Love of Christ. If unsuccessful, as is usually the case, you need to part company in my opinion, point out the Gospel was presented and rejected by the person and move on. I had to do that with the meguro guy over on LP. Discussions were getting heated and was not going to let him drag me down to cyber fist fight. So he is on bozo and perhaps my silence will make him think, so I pray. From my foxhole, homosexuals are trapped in their sin and their only hope is Christ. Given Gary is probably elder to most of us, I added him to this discussion to enlighten us on his experiences with witnessing to homosexuals. Ok, give me a scriptural basis for these steps. Not something all cherry-picked to fit. Show me where these steps are laid out. Yet our commission is to 1) present the Gospel with the Love of Christ. . Sorry, I have no interest in further christian indoctrination. I spent 8 years in catholic schools and learn at an early age that it's all BS. The thing that frigged me out was the concept of "purgatory". What the fuck kind of god punishes newborns for not being baptized by their parents. I have no idea what the catholic or other christian religions teach now and I certainly don't have an interest in finding out. I live a great life not incumbered by the religious "hate" teachings like gays or evil and you're going to hell if you don't follow the rules of pompous humans trying to pretend to speak for god. Believe what you will. I hope you have a great life.
You can start with the Great Commission as outlined in the Gospels by Jesus Christ. Then go to the Acts of the Apostles, then continue on through ALL of Paul's Epistles, then Peter's and then John's Epistles. After that James, Jude and Hebrews. Then the Revelation of Jesus Christ. You will then have completed the New Testament and will get a good picture of what I outlined. That is of course if you are truly serious and truly seeking.

Instead of throwing the baby out with the bath water I sunk my teeth in the Word of God. It is quite liberating to read the unfiltered Word of God and not rely on the traditions of men. You will find out by reading God's Words that nowhere is there mentioned a pergatory or punishments for newborns.

Red, there's no reason for us to have a debate because I'm a confirmed atheist and nothing will change that. BTW, I have read the bible. I will emphasize that although I'm an atheist I have my 8 year old enrolled in bible classes. Likewise I don't express my atheist views to him. I believe that religion is a personal thing and he needs to form his own opinion.
Good move. Hope they are very good Bible classes. If your 8 year old comes home soon and asks you about God, will you then share you are an atheist? I do appreciate you kind demeanor when discussing faith topics. I am an incurable "romantic" when it comes to proclaiming the Gospel.
