Rand Paul’s endorsement of Mitt Romney, the Republican National Committee has agreed to allow supporters of Rep. Ron Paul to host a three-day festival right before the GOP convention in Tampa, Florida, Business Insider reports. The move comes one month after the RNC had cancelled the event. Some speculated that this was due to worries about the influence Paul loyalists would have on the convention, but protests and email campaigns by the Texas Congressman’s supporters (and perhaps a Rand Paul endorsement of Romney) paid off. Paul festival organizer Bryan Siemon told Business Insider he expects between at least 30,000 and 40,000 attendees.
