Some of you people say Ron Paul is the only one you would vote for. Well if he isn't on the ballot what good will that do? Oh you're going to write him in. What an exercise in futility. There is no third party candidate to unite behind. It isn't there aint happening sadly. Face reality.

As anyone here knows I supported Ron Paul this election and last election. So don't give me no shit about my rant here. I would prefer Ron to the two clowns we have to choose from. But we really do only have these two clowns to choose from One will be President come January, like it or not or if you abstain from voting or not.

Now onto Romney. Everyone knows he has a lot of faults. But does he have more faults then Obama? Hell no it isn't even close. You would have to be a fucking retard to compare the two. So don't be retarted and tell me that that there isn't a dimes worth of difference. Because I know there is.

Take Obamas commie takeover of the healthcare system. Romney says he would repeal it. I don't think Romney always tells truth...duh. But this is something that is very much wanted by the people who voted for him. If he defeats Obama he knows that presidents can sometimes only serve one term. So expect him to deliver on that if he is sent the bill.

There are morons all over the internet. So lets start with some known ones. To the morons at freedom4um. You know the nutjob we hate jews but we pretend we only hate "zionists" website. You are now all carbon copies of each other. How pathetic. Christine and Jethro have banned everyone that doesn't hate Jews. Well almost everyone. Notice how everyone of those freedom4um toads always say the same thing.

Here let me quote some of the idiots.

So much for the theory that Rand will be the benefactor of the Freedom movement dad is building.

Jethro Tull posted on 2012-06-08

I could post more examples but you get the point. Go over there day or night and you will see articles of propaganda about Jews. Why do they hate the Jews so much? I don't know, do any of you know? It makes no sense.

These people are almost all dumb asses. Yes Jethro you are a dumb ass too. Do these people not know that the Republican nomination is over. Ron Paul isn't going to be the nominee. Get over it. They don't even know that on Ron Pauls own website he carries Rands endorsement. So if he doesn't have a problem why do these nobodies? These freaks give Ron Paul supporters a bad name. They are like a cult. Who are they supporting that is going to win. Nobody. Nobody. They aren't going to support anyone that has a chance. They are just people that are not happy no matter what.

Then on this forum too. We have people. You give me a hard time about supporting Romney. Ok fair enough. You have a right to do that, just like the idiots at 4um. But by not voting or by not voting for someone viable against Obama what have you accomplished. Nothing not a thing now squat. Oh you can brag I didn't vote. That is some bragging right. Do you fools not realize how bad Obama is. Think of the people he will put on the supreme court. Look at what he has already put on the court. He put two dykes on the court because he hates white males. Do you really think Romney could do worse? If you do you are retarded.

And you little dweeb Ferret Mike. I really don't give a shit if you know why christine banned me. So when you post it from now on I command you to post it in context. That the nitwit christine who poses in sexy lingere on the internet and runs the freedom4um website got her panties in a wad when I pointed out that most of her posters were Jew haters who would be happy with someone like Adolph hitler at the helm. So Yes you little twit ferret christine did ban me because I posted a thread asking if it would be better if all the jews were killed. You value free speech so much little Mike why don't you talk about that. Dumb ass. Afterall christine does tolerate some sick mother fucker who goes by the name esso. I call him esso the sicko. that we don't have other choices, because we do, third parties have been elected in our past, and they may still be our hope for the future. JMHO! ;)

Hey I love you Murron. I agree third parties would be good. I hope they can win some day if the R's don't reform. But this election cycle it isn't happening. There is no Ross Perot on the horizon. No one. The election is in 5 months. I've voted third party in the past. I will probably do it again. Not this time though. I would feel really bad if I didn't vote Romney and Obama got back in.

Because the Libertarian Party is the 3rd largest political party currently in the U.S.A., it is time to take candidates like Ron Paul and Gary Johnson a lot more seriously.

Gary Johnson is a twit globalist for open borders. Romney at least says the right things. I hope Romney is telling the truth on that one or at least follows through. Even if he didn't he would still be a tie with Johnson or Obama. There are zero nada issues that Obama is better the Romney on. Not a single one.

Ok. But that is what I am talking about. There isn't anyone else that is going to unite enough people in the next 5 months. It is going to be Romney or Obama no matter what we do. I think Romney is better.

In Pslams or proverbs it says something about the righteous being happy or rejoicing when they are lead by someone good and being sad or something like that when they are ruled by evil. That was written before christ. I would take it to mean that sometimes we can have a good ruler that isn't a christian. Someone that would do good for the nation.

The Paulites are in a civil war over Rand's endorsement of Willie Mitt. Alex Jones and the infowars bunch are having a melt down. There's talk of an Alex Jones/Webster Tarpley ticket. Jessie Ventura is another candidate sometimes mentioned.

There's a huge mass of the electorate who want nothing to do with either Romney or Obama. The time is right for a third party candidate. Gary Johnson is the Libertarian Party candidate and likely has a good shot at winning, considering the alternatives.

The GOP is on a suicide mission running Mitt. They're self destructing. Running McCain and then Romney should be the end of them. The real race is Johnson vs Obama at this point, IMO.

No they're not. They are flexing their power. They have been corrupted and have joined the dark side and most of the "Reagan" Democrats have reverted back to their old ways. The elite Easterner blue bloods are running the show. I do not support them any more. I've had it with their ilk and what they've done to the party. They now own it. That doesn't mean we don't keep trying to take over from community to community

You can't just cut off the head and expect the body to crumble, there are way too many pieces of the body for that to happen..... they will just install a new head that thinks like them and nothing will have been gained.... But if you start at the grass root level and work your way up building a new body a piece at a time you'll eventually get what you want, and the current head will die.... (just like what the Paulies are doing right now, taking a piece at a time)..... (it would be nice if the Paulies and Tea partiers would combine forces and get really organized)...

This will take time, it may be 3,4,5 or more election cycles before you realize your dream of having candidates that want the same thing you want for this country instead of the current bunch who just want to "Rule" you and ruin it for everybody!!!

The more guys you get like Scott Walker coming up thru the ranks just gives the voters that many more good options, and sooner or later you will get the guys you really want to vote for...... Not another POS!!!!

(You know I seem to remember saying this before and all I heard was "NO we need a 3rd Party")!!! LOL.....

Political Bumper Stickers: The fastest way in the world to let people know you are a total dumbass.... Total number of Obama 2012 bumper stickers I've seen so far......5!! Total number of Romney 2012 bumper stickers I've seen so far...0!!

Some of them were pagans.

Some of the people who have run for president say they are christians. They are not. What is worse someone who says they are a christian and are not. Or someone who admits he isn't a christian?

The Bible probably doesn't advocate us voting for anyone. As we are not of this world.

Ok Third Partiers. WHO CAN WIN? Come on tell me.

America's winner take all, single member Congressional districts and electoral college aren't conducive to third parties.

Perot won 19% of the popular vote in 1992. He would have won more if he didn't out himself as a whack job half way through the election.

Perot didn't win a single electoral vote.

Had Perot won 19% of the electoral votes, the election would have been decided by the House of Representatives, controlled by Democrats, who could have voted for anyone they please. We likely would have been looking at a President Ted Kennedy at that point.

That's an old claim that is no longer correct.

The Constitution Party has more registered voters than any other third party.

The Green Party has the second most registered voters for a third party.

The Libertarians are third, with less then half of the registered voters as the Constitution Party.

I voted for Ron Paul (LP) in 88, Ross Perot in 92, Ralph Nader in 2004, and Bob Barr (LP) in 2008.

At this point, I'm voting for Romney because Obama is the most clueless President we've ever had. He's spent his entire life cavorting with insular leftists in academia. He just doesn't understand how the real world work. I am scared to death what he might do in a second term with executive orders.

The country has one foot off a cliff. We have to take a step back before it's too late.

I guess that means we are supposed to vote for either Obama or Rombama, neither of whom we want to even see VISITING the White House.

No thanks. I don't want either one of them as a president,so WHY the hell would I vote for either of them?

As far as that goes,if I HAD to cast a vote for one of those two,I'd vote for Obama because he is less dangerous to the Republic than a paler and more competent alleged Republican version of himself that would get Republican support for his bills in the house and senate.

PLUS....,Obama can only serve one more term and we are done with him. Rombama can serve two terms. If you want to see the Republican Party offer us better candidates, you HAVE to stop voting for the losers they keep pushing forward. The more of them you vote for,the more of them you will get to vote for.

Are you kidding me? The fact that he is clueless is the biggest reason to vote for him over Rombama. Look at all the damage he could have done if he had known what the hell he was doing, and the damage a Rombama that ISN'T clueless WILL do if given the chance. And that's not even addressing the FACT that a RINO version of Obama like Rombama will have the full support of the alleged Republican Party to get anything he wants voted forward, and it should be clear to a blind man that Rombama is a bigger threat to the Republic.

I didn't say that he was incompetent. I said that he is clueless about how the real world and economy work. Obama knows exactly what he wants - to grow government power and control over society.

Romney is not going to create any new entitlement programs like Bush and Obama did. He is not going to raise taxes like Obama wants to do. Romney is going to reform entitlement programs - he's not going to have a choice, given the country's dire fiscal situation.

Romney understands how businesses are created and succeed. Obama is a blithering idiot. For this reason alone, Romney is a far better choice than Obama. We haven't had a choice as clear as this since Carter / Reagan.

No. Not this time.

The simple fact is that any vote in the national election for anybody but "mittens" is actually a vote FOR the messiah "king" obammy.

Being an adult living in the real world means doing nasty things for the good of your children.

We are supposed to be a secular nation.

The messiah "king" is a monster beyond words. That doesn't change what "mittens" is. It just makes him the lesser of two very great evils.

THIS is the choice OUR Lord has given us.

The messiah "king" obammy is a sucking chest wound, "mittens" is a crushed pelvis. There is no "GOOD" choice.

"Mittens" is just basically feral gooberment business as usual.

OBVIOUSLY the choice is up to each individual American voter.

OUR "morality" and "principles" won't mean shit if the messiah "king" gets four more years to do his historic damage to our nation.

Do you or don't you want to stop this insane MONSTER who is in the whitehouse RIGHT NOW?

TALK IS CHEAP.

All that really matters is what you DO.

IF you vote for someone who has absolutely ZERO chance at being elected as a "protest", your "protest" WILL help re-elect a monster who has NEVER been duplicated in ALL of our history.

Then in a couple of years you can "brag" how YOU didn't vote for either f them.

THAT will help AMERICA and OUR posterity won't it?

When will AMERICANS quit acting like spoiled children?

Tell me how GOOD you are going to feel when the messiah "king" obammy wins and is able to not only continue what he has done so far but to do MORE since he NEVER has to worry again about what Americans want?

I wonder how good your "brag" about not voting against him for a person who could WIN because of your vaunted "morality" and "principles" is going to feel to you then?

But, of course no matter what happens YOU will be able to CLAIM that it was not a result of your INaction.

Do as you will of course, but don't think that you can HIDE behind your so called "morality" or "principles".

You may believe your own bullshit, but we don't have to.

btw; do you suppose that you are the only person facing this choice? You are NOT.

We ALL do.

There is NO NEXT TIME when it comes to national presidential elections. FOUR MORE YEARS OF THIS INSANE AMERICA HATING MONSTER WILL DESTROY THIS NATION.

But, of course, YOUR "morality" and "principles" are more important than this Nation and people are. /S

Spoiled, stupid and ignorant, brain dead phuckwads, libTURD fools, tools, and idiots, are the real sickness; the messiah "king" obammy and his regime are only the symptoms.

So don't be retarted and tell me that that there isn't a dimes worth of difference. Because I know there is.

"RETARTED?"

Heh heh heh....! (who are you calling retarted???)

Take Obamas commie takeover of the healthcare system. Romney says he would repeal it. "

Only congress (or in a rare case the SC) can "repeal" a law. Mr. Romney cannot "repeal" anything.

WHO CAN WIN? Come on tell me.

If romney is the best candidate the gopers can put forth........

Obama can win.

Divided partisan control of government is better than one party rule. IMHO

Obama knows exactly what he wants - to grow government power and control over society.

Yeah, but he is clueless about how to get it. His ego and arrogance turn off the Senators he has to sway to get things done. They are every bit his match when it comes to ego-maniac,and even presidents have to kiss their asses to get them to do anything. Obama thinks he is smarter than any of them, and it burns their asses.

"Romney is not going to create any new entitlement programs like Bush and Obama did."

Ever heard of Romney Care? You DO know he was elected to be the governor of Mass, right?

There is no third party candidate to unite behind.

Some will pick Virgil Goode (Tea Party, Constitution Party types). Gary Johnson shares enough positions with Ron Paul folk to attract many of their votes. These people are in politics for their principles. They want to win but they don't compromise.

Who are they supporting that is going to win. Nobody. Nobody. They aren't going to support anyone that has a chance.

But they can feel wise later. I know of people like Lew Rockwell that refuse even to vote at all. Some people feel very smug about it, like withholding their vote is driving The System nuts or something.

In the end, they still own their vote, even if it does drive you nuts. They prove pretty invulnerable to the "A vote for Candidate X is hopeless and therefore you are actually voting for Candidate Y". Well, it is obviously false to any adult. Your vote can only tally to the candidate listed on the ballot, no one else. Clever arguments don't change that. But these folks do get some gratification from a rant like yours. They feel all warm and fuzzy, "Gee, we really got 'em going now!". Or something. So you are actually rewarding and reinforcing their behavior, it seems.

Even so, you're swimming in a very small pond with this argument. I doubt you can even name more than 30 people at the forums you're mentioning. Let's be generous and say it's 100. Of those, it is almost certain that 12 or fewer in the entire bunch actually live and will vote in one of the 8 identified battleground states in 2012. Of those 12 I'm positing, half will vote for the GOP nominee, mostly as a rejection of Obama (because they're a gunowner or they hate his social liberalism or they oppose gay marriage or whatever). Even if they deny it now, at the last minute, they'll decide not to throw their vote away on a 1 Percenter third party candidate, even if they actually do like him (both Goode and Johnson do have some decent policy points and a good enough record; both are much better than Bob Barr was as the 2008 LP candidate or Chuck Baldwin was as the 2008 CP candidate).

So posting big rants to try to convince less than six people out of a wild assortment of counter-cultural types really is an exercise in herding cats. A small handful of cats.

I hope I'm not spoiling your election season by pointing this out.

Rant off/

You were on a good roll though. I thought you ably defended yourself against some out-of-context quoting.

You're not spoiling anything.

Just don't knock yourself out over a half-dozen votes, that's what I'm sayin'.

And people do own their vote. If you ever hope to persuade them, don't ever even hint that their vote for A is actually a vote for B. Loses every time. In addition, if someone else is giving them a hard time about your-vote-for-X-is-a-vote-for-Obama, you get instant cred by defending that they, and no one else owns their vote and that their vote can only be cast for the person they vote for, not someone else.

You may have noticed I posted that I'm in a total Red state, historically one of the five most Republican, right up there with Utah. And so I do tell people they are perfectly free to throw their vote away (vote their principles) if they are in such a Red state or such a Blue state (like NY or CT) that a vote for the somewhat undesirable GOP nominee wouldn't mean anything anyway because their vote will be taken from them by their fellow-voters and given to either the Dem or the GOP. And a lot of us live in these states that are very Red or very Blue.

But if they live in an actual swing state, like 2012's 8 battlegrounds, then they might want to consider just what the Court will look like if they just let Obama stay in the WH, whether they might later regret their "principles" over the next thirty years when an Obama-appointed majority on the Supreme Court steadily destroys everything they ever believed in. Will they regret it when Obama appoints one or two more justices to re-enact the horrors of the Warren Court? You get the idea.

I find this works much better. If they're in a hopelessly Blue or Red state, they don't matter anyway (and you've avoided picking fights with 3/4 of the people you're trying to influence). But almost everyone is familiar with a situation where they did something that was all "principled" and turned out to just be shooting themselves in the foot (even though they really hate to ever admit to anyone). This kind of reminder can flip votes at the last minute in the voting booth when they stare at that ballot.

Anyway, that's my experience in how to move a few votes in crucial states toward making a difference in the elections. But don't get your blood pressure up too much over it. Democracy is never tidy. And the voters are crazy. Seriously crazy.

I was thinking more of herbs.     : )

You know, the pot vote may swing Colorado's vote this year. Don't laugh. I'm serious.

Did I mention that the voters are crazy?

I live in Ohio as I'm pretty sure you are aware of.

I'll vote for Romney and hope for the best. My hopes aren't up for a dramatic turnaround. I do expect his to have a few positive effects though. Just him being elected will help the economy even if it is only temporarily.

Any other year I would risk a third party vote. But Obama is so bad he has to go.

I have heard that, from one side or the other, for the majority of my life.

It's a scam. And look at what it's done to our country and the point that it's brought us to.

It doesn't matter if you vote for Romney or Obama, because the agenda, and the direction this country is moving, will remain the same either way.

The simple fact is that any vote in the national election for anybody but "mittens" is actually a vote FOR the messiah "king" obammy.

Bullshit.

Still bullshit even after being repeated 10,000 times.

THIS is the choice OUR Lord has given us.

Oh holy shit!

Now GOD wants us to vote for either Romney or Obama?

Voters have heard this in every presidential election, from one side or the other, as long as I've been alive.

You vote for whomever you'd like, and I'll do the same.

Fuck that propaganda guilt trip. It's been snowing American citizens into eating a shit sandwich every 4 years, for years now, and look at where it's brought us.

YOU support and vote for Mitt, and when he loses to Obama, it will lie squarely on the shoulders of your ilk who keep running a shit sandwich and repeating the lie that we HAVE to vote for him or we'll die.

Nope. But obviously, you are one of the people I would tell to think hard before casting a "principled" third-party vote. If Obama wins Ohio, history says he gets 4 more years to destroy this country and possibly a chance to remake the Court for decades to come.

If you lived in UT or WY or NY or CA, I wouldn't waste the keystrokes.

Do you live in any of the eight battleground states for 2012? Especially in OH or FL?

If not, you can vote for Captain Kangaroo. Won't matter except in the popular vote.
