Post 1. Fascinating stuff!!!!!!So you think that Ron Paul is not having any influence.Think again. The Republican Party of Wisconsin just adopted three Ron Paul resolutions into its state platform. #1 Res 2012-5 All wars need a declaration by Congress. #2 Repeal The NDAA, and after 1.5 hours of contention passed#3 Res2012-8, Audit the Federal Reserve. An amendment to 2012-8 to abolish the Federal Reserve unfortunately was defeated 3106 to 1668. But what a huge victory. The people are waking up. Post 2 The Republican Party of Wisconsin just added to it's platform Res #2012-14 recommending the the dismantling of the following Federal agencies. HUD, Energy, HHS, Labor, Agriculture, and urges the de-funding of the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Public Broadcasting System. Go Ron Paul. Also Bob, just for you they voted to not ever have a convention at any venue that restricts handguns. From my brother the "delegate" at the Wisconsin GOP convention.

Just so people understand; the posting is from a delegate from Wisconsin. My brother to be exact.............. You won't find it in the news media. YOU will eventually hear it from the GOP OF WISCONSIN. A STATE.
Damn, all the people east of the continental divide have apparently gone to bed. And tomorrow only the really stupid will respond and the rest who have a modicum of intelligence might just weigh in on the politics of it all, but I fear it may be only two or three on the whole damn site. Too sad.
Not much gets any responses anymore. I think conservatives are pretty much burned out by now. Too many betrayals.

Wimps and tyrants! Why restrict folks right to "stand your ground" by specifying handguns, they don't like long guns? No doubt they mean well, but it's poorly worded IMO. The term "arms" was good enough for the framers of the constitution & BOR, and is far more inclusive.

This is a bit off topic and I apologize for that, but... I took a 20 year old nephew, first time shooter to the range yesterday. I set up a target at 20 feet and put 11 rounds into a Taurus Millennium Pro compact 9mm. This is the first time this kid had EVER touched a real weapon and after giving him some tips about stance, trigger squeeze, etc., he put 11 rounds into a 4.5" circle! At 20 feet with a compact 9! I've never seen anything like it.
Hope for America! Love that story, not everything is doom and gloom.
