They are criticizing our president’s handling of the war and act as if we had already lost. It makes me want to throw up when I hear some self proclaimed intellectual or expert who barely has enough practical sense to tie his shoes criticizing people like Donald Rumfeld and Colin Powell who have been there and done that. These puffed up chowder heads know as much about fighting a war as a hog knows about an airplane. Yet they sit back in their lofty ivory towers and remind us every time a civilian gets killed in Afghanistan what a terrible thing we’re doing to their country. Wake up you detestable gas bags, if this war goes on for ten years we’ll never kill as many Afghans as the Taliban has. We will be doing the Afghan people a tremendous favor getting rid of these self righteous thugs who beat women with sticks and execute anyone who doesn’t believe the same way they do. How dare you bunch of overeducated cabbage heads try to make the citizens of this country think that we’re losing the war in Afghanistan. We’ve barely gotten started and if we were the same kind of people that you idiots are, the war would have been over the first couple of days because we would have dropped a couple of neutron bombs and come back home. But that’s not the kind of people we are. We are humane and caring and take every precaution we can to keep from hurting innocent people. It’s just a sad fact that there will always be innocent people hurt and killed in wars. It’s bound to happen but we don’t need you self aggrandizing pimple brains to keep on reminding us how deplorable it is. We know already. We know because of the carnage we suffered in New York and Washington on September 11th. When I see one of you draft card burning love and peace flower children spouting off about what we are doing in Afghanistan or criticizing our government for their efforts on the home front I’d like to pick you up by the nap of your soft neck and shake you like a bulldog shakes a rat. Don’t you people realize what you’re doing? Don’t you realize that there is nothing short of absolute victory acceptable in this war? Don’t you know or care that if we don’t finish this we will leave a world to our children and grandchildren a world we don’t even want to think about? Can you imagine a six year old kid carrying a gas mask to school? Our government is straining every nerve to protect us and eradicate the menace we face no matter what you think about it. And they don’t need a bunch of non combat arm chair generals telling the population that they don’t know what they’re doing. They know what they’re doing. I have been from coast to coast since the tragedy of September 11th and I find a totally different attitude among the hard working, tax paying, salt of the earth people of this country. They’re ready to fight, sacrifice and do whatever else it takes to defeat our enemy. You people are so out of touch with the vast part of the population of this nation. You live in an intellectually incestuous world. You never see anybody except each other and you wouldn’t know a sledge hammer from a plowshare much less the people who work with them. That ole boy from Texas ain’t going to give in to your incessant needling. He’s made of stouter stuff than the last poll propelled draft dodger who disgraced the Oval Office. Every time you doubt that this war is righteous take a look at the file footage of the Trade Towers coming down and think about the children whose mommies and daddies won’t be coming home anymore.
