New World Order Title: Little Qatar Emerges as Point Man for West’s Phony Religious and Media War Against Islam Soccer meets politics at Dohas Mohammed Abdul Wahhab Mosque
Qatars increasing engagement in European soccer and international sport is just one leg in the small Gulf States high-risk attempts to position itself as a global player on the right side of history, James M. Dorsey writes in his analysis on the Gulf States growing influence in international sport.
A multi-domed, sand-colored, architectural marvel, Dohas newest and biggest mosque, symbolizes both Qatars bold storm into the 21st century and the pitfalls that that march entails. Its not the mosque itself that raises eyebrows but its naming after an 18th century warrior priest, Sheikh Mohammed Abdul Wahhab, the founder of Islams most puritan sect. Middle East Online (4/21/12) The global elites religious wars are heating up and little countries like Ireland and the Middle Easts Qatar are at the center of it. This is part of a larger strategy, it would seem, to help speed the implementation of world government. There seems no doubt that the elites that apparently want to run the world continue to exploit every kind of difference between people and cultures that they can. Starting after 9/11, modern religious wars have become even more pervasive. Afghanistan and Iraq have come into the line of fire for a decade now. And Middle East secular regimes have been taken down with dizzying speed recently. This is obvious for anyone who wants to look. The powers-that-be are apparently building an Islamic arc in the Middle East and Africa via the installation of various radical-to-moderate Islamic regimes in such places as Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, and Libya, to mention a few. The idea seems to be to create various religious and political blocs that can then be exploited for purposes of propaganda. The elites always work this way, via divide-and-conquer. They are using thesis, antithesis, and synthesis to build a global world order that will feature both East and West. Religion is the anvil and war is the hammer. Is a special strategy to be employed? Once Barack Obama is re-elected, if he is, the US President (with more latitude) might well emerge as a peace-maker between East and West. He will cement his manipulated legacy and the world will take another step toward a dangerous global unification. The program seems obviously deliberate. Even Syria is on the firing line. Vladimir Putin has objected to the global elites takeover of Syria but chances are that after the election, Putin will withdraw his veto and the Assads will fall. Syria, too, may become an Islamic state. Enter Qatar Little Qatar is the founder of the major Arab wire service Al Jazeera. Qatar is surely a well-fitted cog in the global elites mechanism, or so it would seem. Its Emir was put in place by the US; in fact, the US initially attacked Iraq from a huge military base there. Al Jazeera, the news service, is a kind of Arab CNN. It is not a genuine artifact. Instead, it seems aimed at indoctrinating Islam with an Islamic/Western admixture of monetary paradigms (central banking, debt, etc.) and generally the warfare/welfare state. Qatar, like Bahrain and other small countries in the Middle East are laboratories of an East/West amalgamation. The tools used in this cultural mix em up are actually anything and everything that comes to hand, including sports. Middle East Online has recently reported on Qatars role as an emerging sports center, as follows: Qatars increasing engagement in European soccer and international sport is just one leg in the small Gulf States high-risk attempts to position itself as a global player on the right side of history, James M. Dorsey writes in his analysis on the Gulf States growing influence in international sport. Ironically, the mosque owes its naming to the debate Qatars winning of the right to host the 2022 World Cup has sparked. It is a debate that goes to the heart of the energy-rich Gulf states identity and the place its ruler, Emir Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani, wants to carve out for his tiny city-state. The World Cup constitutes a centerpiece of a strategy that seeks to reshape the identity of the worlds only state outside of Saudi Arabia that adheres to Wahhabism, one of Islams most austere and restrictive interpretations of Islam; position Qatar as a global player capable of punching above its weight; create opportunities to leverage its enormous wealth in a bid to reduce its reliance on the export of one commodity; and enhance its security by establishing mutually beneficial relations with friend and foe and ensuring that it is at the cutting edge of history. The sports leg of Qatars broader, high-risk geo-political, economic and media strategy involving the creation of a world class airline, Qatar Airways; Al Jazeera as a cutting edge global broadcaster; a far more liberal interpretation of Wahhabism than that of Saudi Arabia and support for many of the popular uprisings sweeping the Middle East and North Africa is emerging as a driver of imminent restructuring of the regions soccer landscape as well as of social change. To achieve his goal, Emir Hamad has embarked on a buying spree of European soccer assets such as Paris Saint Germain and top league European broadcast rights as well as big ticket sponsorship agreements with the likes of FC Barcelona and the Tour de France, multiple bids for the hosting of international sports tournaments and the construction of world class infrastructure at a cost of tens of billions of dollar. It is all here, laid out for anyone who wants to look. Qatars hyper-religious posture is being used to further East/West polarization prior before, eventually, a synthesis of sorts between the two religious elements. Elites use the threat of violence to maintain their hold on the US dollar reserve currency. The Saud family must trade dollars for oil and insist that everyone else the world over must do so, too. But it is not Saudi Arabia that is behind Wahhabism these days so much as Western global elite muscle. The use of religion East versus West is an integral part of the elites march toward victory worldwide. The idea is to homogenize two of the worlds greatest religions Islam and Catholicism and to create a global synthesis out of them that can be more easily controlled by the elites themselves. To this end, it is even possible that the elites have urged on the marketing of indulgences once more. InfoWars recently posted a story from Daily Finance on the return of plenary indulgences: These days, you can get a deal on anything. Even salvation! Pope Benedict has announced that his faithful can once again pay the Catholic Church to ease their way through Purgatory and into the Gates of Heaven. Never mind that Martin Luther fired up the Reformation because of them: Plenary Indulgences are back. While the church can use the money, there is likely something else going on as well. The global elite itself is raising the profile of religion (versus spirituality) as a tool. The more controversy that swirls around the worlds major (and increasingly manipulated) religions, the more useful they become in helping create the synthesis of world government. It is not of course merely an Islamic manipulation. We can see the elements at work in Catholic states such as Italy and little Ireland. Elite Attack on Irish Culture Via the Church Ireland, inching back from the brink, battles to reverse the emerald migration tide
Out of work and worried about their future, a young couple gathers their belongings and heads overseas in search of greener pastures. Its a tale told time and again in Ireland, where emigration is tightly woven into the countrys cultural fabric. Hundreds of thousands of Irish have fled the country since the economic collapse in 2008 that saw Ireland slip from Western Europes richest country to one of the poorest. But now Irelands government is taking unusual steps to reverse the trend, appealing to both their own citizens and companies worldwide to bring foreign business to Irish soil as a way to boost the economy and create jobs. Toronto Star (4/27/12) Is Ireland divorcing from the Catholic Church? In the wake of the sex abuse scandals, an anti-Vatican mood is sweeping the land. Our Irish parents and grandparents would find astonishing the acidly anti-clerical views expressed in the Republic of Ireland today. The land that once called itself a foremost Catholic nation and most loyal ally of the Holy Father is awash with sentiments that seem to veer between Ulster Paisleyism and the Spanish republicanism of the 1930s
One correspondent wrote that it was his ardent hope that the Catholic Church would follow the example of the News of the World, and hold a last Mass before shutting down. UK Telegraph The U.S. Embassy in Dublin has sponsored a seminar on Muslim entrepreneurs and business in Ireland. A main point of the conference was the need for Sharia law compliant financial products to be used. The U.S. Embassy supported the conference as part of President Obamas outreach to Muslims around the world. Ambassador Dan Rooney congratulated the organizers on Wednesday and said that the US was solid partners in the venture. He gave a copy of President Obamas book The Audacity of Hope to Imam Hussein Halawa, of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland, who opened the event. Jihad Watch We have pointed out in the past that one of the ways the worlds top elites are shattering cultures is through human migration and the creation of new cultural (religious) identities in place of the old. Nowhere is this more startlingly evident than in Ireland, a small country with a population bound together by a fierce cultural identity. The cultural glue of this society was in large part a powerful Roman Catholicism
and it has been under serious attack for the past decade not just in Ireland but throughout the Western world. But it is not just Ireland. The Wests top elites have seemingly pursued a program of attacking the Roman Catholic Church in the US and Italy as well any place that the Church serves as a kind of cultural glue for the population. It is a seemingly noxious mess that includes the promotion of other religious entities, the deliberate takedown of economic prosperity and the encouragement of certain kinds of immigration and emigration. The result is a shattered culture that is easily manipulated especially in Europe where the elites continue to sponsor a pan-European empire that is putatively a stepping-stone to a larger world government. Ireland provides us with a good example. In Ireland, this sort of attack is most noticeable because of the way it is destroying traditional Irish society. If one accepts the idea that there is global elite that wants to foster one-world government, what has occurred in Ireland makes perfect sense. The full-scale take-down of the Roman Catholicism in Ireland began in earnest with the 2009 Commission to Inquire into Child-Abuse. This was a government-sponsored report that included testimony from 2000 witnesses that attended 200 Catholic-run schools. The timeline stretched from the 1930s to the 1990s. While there is no doubt that priests and nuns working for the Roman Catholic church abused their authority and indulged in sexual practices with youngsters, the high-profile of these investigations (the constant reporting of the abuse) leads one to believe that the elites who at the top run the Wests mainstream media wanted the story to receive maximum publicity. And it surely has. It is perhaps an elaborate pincer movement. At the same time as the Church has come under attack, Islam in particular has been supported. Mosques are sprouting up regularly in Dublin these days and interfaith conferences are regular occurrences. Just recently another major conference was announced an Ahmadiyya Muslim interfaith conference in Galway, Ireland. See here from the Galway Advertiser: The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, Ireland will hold its sixth Annual Interfaith Peace Conference this Sunday from 5pm to 7pm in the Clayton Hotel. The topic of this years conference is Purpose of Religion and speakers from Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, will address the topic. The Mayor of Galway Hildegarde Naughton will also speak at the event. The main purpose in organizing our Annual Interfaith Peace Conferences is to promote peace and mutual harmony amongst people from all religions and of no religion, said Ahmadiyya Muslim spokesperson Imran Ahmed. All are welcome to attend the conference but must attend before 4.30pm for registration. Such conferences are surely admirable. And yet within the larger context of what is taking place in Ireland, they would seem to be part of a larger strategy that is not nearly so admirable. Economic desperation and its antidote of austerity ever-higher taxes along with a diminution of government services and pensions along with the ongoing attacks on the Roman-Catholic church (and the larger Irish culture) are draining the Irish out of Ireland. Were this happening because the population itself chose it, there would be little question as to its rightness and appropriateness. But all is not as it seems. Throughout Europe, Western cultures are under attack. The elites central banking economy has struck with vicious force, ruining families, forcing emigration, and shifting the larger cultural foundation. In Spain and Ireland throughout the PIGS really there is a vast Diaspora of young people who can find no work in their native cultures. Again, if this were an ordinary occurrence, it might be a welcome one as cultures always benefit from interactions with other nationalities. But the sovereign debt crisis in Europe is evidently a manufactured one, created by the same central bankers and fiat money that have caused woe and destruction throughout this past century. Central banking is a weapon deployed by the elites. These same elites that seem to control central banking around the world are also behind the great European experiment and its pan-continental aspirations. Their stock-in-trade is cultural dissonance, the studied removal of tradition and the substitution of non-authentic elements for authentic ones. The goal is likely an emasculated population with little understanding of its history, of larger cultural bonds, or even of the local clans and tribes that they may have belonged to for centuries. Such people are far easier to control and this seems to be the ultimate goal. One may shudder at the manipulation and perhaps rightly fear the larger reasons for their imposition. The tool kits are deep (if repetitive) and the determination to create a New Order continues unabated.
