WTO discusses reinstitution of slavery to save the downtrodden of Africa! by Daniel New (Editorial)
(Philadelphia) -- A representative of the World Trade Organization (WTO) has proposed that a form of "compassionate slavery" be introduced that would allow businesses to buy and sell employees in a manner that would be "good for business, good for people."
In one of the most astonishing quotes ever made, Hanniford Schmidt said, "This is what free trade's all about. It's about the freedom to buy and sell anything -- even people."
"Full, untrammelled stewardry is the best available solution to African poverty, and the inevitable result of free-market theory," Schmidt told more than 150 attendees. Schmidt acknowledged that the stewardry program was similar in many ways to slavery, but explained that just as "compassionate conservatism" has polished the rough edges on labor relations in industrialized countries, full stewardry, or "compassionate slavery," could be a similar boon to developing ones.
I don't make this stuff up. I couldn't. Here we have a Globalist telling his own people that buying and selling people is the answer to the problems of business, of labor, and of the poor in Africa.

There is no truth to the rumor that African slaves will soon be imported by New England merchants to be sold to farmers, ranchers and plantation owners in the South and the Midwest; and the World Trade Organization is not, repeat, NOT accepting applications for purchasing farm workers - yet.
