Mitt Romney endorser Ted Nugent will meet with the Secret Service Thursday as a followup to his incendiary comments at an NRA convention over the weekend. In an interview with Glenn Beck, Nugent again said the comments were not meant as a threat to anyone and said his political opponents were blowing the tirade out of proportion. As for the Secret Service probe, Nugent said that he will be meeting with officials on Thursday.
We actually have heard from the Secret Service and they have a duty. I support them. I salute them. And I look forward to our meeting tomorrow, he said. Im sure well have a great conversation
bottom line is, Ive never threatened anybodys life in my life. Ive never threatened. I dont waste breath threatening.
He continued, going on to reiterate his respect for the law enforcement officials.
Were going to have a little barbecue get together, he said. And Im not trying to diminish the seriousness of this, because if the Secret Service are doing it they are serious. They are dedicated and I will be as polite and supportive as I possibly can be, which will be thoroughly.

Wonder if the Nuge will pull a 'shit my pants' stunt as he pulled to dodge the draft during the Vietnam war to get out of this one?...
