International News Title: A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Revolution! A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Revolution! Written on April 8, 2012 by Ralph Barker America has been in the midst of a successful, stealthy, Marxist revolution for decades. So far, few people have perceived it for what it is. We don’t see soldiers on the street or check points along the roads so we feel like everything is all right. If things don’t change soon, if people don’t take notice, if God does not intervene, America will join Europe and others in the destructive downward spiral of socialism. If you understand Marxist theory, global socialism is the first step toward the ultimate Communist dream, a global Utopia. America is the biggest obstacle to arriving at that Utopia. America must be transformed in order to succeed. Transform? Who is it that uses that word all the time? There have been many attempts at building a Utopia over the last hundred years. So far, hundreds of millions of men, women, and children have died in the process. These casualties never made it to the Promised Land of Karl Marx. No one ever has. No one ever will. As David Chilton points out in his Paradise Restored, man has been trying to return to the Garden of Eden since he was expelled. He always fails because the only way back is through obedience to God’s plan of redemption and not through human efforts. In 1998, Balint Vazsonyi, an Hungarian Émigré, wrote America’s 30 Years War, a book that exposes and details the ongoing conflict that few Americans acknowledge is even taking place. It is clearly a Marxist revolution taking place here and now. The thing that throws us off guard is that this American revolution is bloodless, at least so far. Yet, the revolutionary efforts are accomplishing the same things, slowly, but successfully and unnoticed. During the cold war days Aleksandr Isayevich Solzhenitsyn, a Russian who was well acquainted with the Soviet Gulag, tried to warn the West what would become of us if we didn’t wake up. We still slumber even though men like him and Vazsonyi continually try to warn us. It seems it is usually foreigners from Marxist regimes who see our danger. We don’t seem to be concerned though. Obviously, we don’t listen to people like that. Sun Tzu said, “If you know neither yourself nor the enemy you will succumb in every battle.” And this appears to be where we are today in America. We have lost our sense of identity and we are ignorant of Marxism, thinking it died with the fall of the Berlin Wall. Nothing really changed at that time. It was really the fall of the wall that caused us to relax and ignore the path of Marxists revolutionaries. Before, and especially, after the Wall fell, Marxists, in large numbers, migrated to or infiltrated the environmental movement, college professorships, the media, and other extreme leftists organizations. This is where they survive and thrive today. Through environmental efforts alone they can potentially capture us, control us, and even destroy us without firing a shot. It is a brilliant strategy. Most American’s still have the old fashioned view of a Marxist revolution. The insurrections in the past were very obvious to all. There was extreme violence and bloodshed. Large segments of target populations were exterminated. Soldiers were in the streets. Private property was abolished. Communications and travel were controlled and those who resisted were executed, jailed, or exiled. To date, upwards of two-hundred million men, women, and children have been exterminated by the hands of Marxists. And, we think it can’t happen here. Oh yes it can. In fact, I think there is a good chance it will. From a Marxists worldview we must never forget if something advances the cause of Marxism then it is acceptable, good and moral. If that means torturing or killing people, then these too are perfectly acceptable. We have to change the way we think about our country. America is no longer a Christian nation. America is no longer good. America has no problem calling good evil and evil good (Isaiah 5). Biblical right and wrong are alien concepts to us especially to our leaders. In today’s America, abortion is good. Homosexuality is good. Socialism is good. High taxes are good. Removing God from everything is good. And, the father-state is good. At the same time, free enterprise is bad. Competition is bad. Rich people are bad. Keeping the money you earn is bad. Traditional marriage is bad. Absolutes are bad. And, Christianity is bad. This is a complete reversal of society’s norms as recently as we knew them in the 1950s. As a biblical worldview fades from view, tyranny usually comes into focus soon after. In my opinion, although I’m a firm postmillennialist, I think only God can do something at this point, if He will. We can’t rebuild our foundations without revival and reformation. God will complete His plan with or without America. I’ve always considered myself a missionary to America. My burden is to see her survive, revive, and become a Christian light to the world. However, I think our only hope right now is found in the promise often quoted in II Chronicles 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
