It's too bad that you don't have a Biker Bar here like LP used to have. The way LP is now, Biker Bar is a bad idea there too. Biker Bar, in the old days at LP, never showed up in your main news sidebar. If you wanted to look at food fights or cross-forum squabbles, you had to go into the Biker Bar to look for them. And they didn't show up on the main forum's sidebar(s). They did still get some exposure in the Latest Comments list anyway. This kind of thing can take over your forum, making it more food fight than news site. LP has the same problem. 4um is overall more peaceful because you don't see much of it there, I have to assume christine put her foot down because 4um folk aren't any more polite than the rest of the forums. It comes down to moderator policy, what they'll put up with, where they want their site to go. I kind of doubt that Vicomte appreciates being discussed behind his back like this. No one would.
