The conservative magazine National Review fired columnist John Derbyshire Saturday evening for his controversial column in another publication urging white and Asian parents to tell their children to avoid contact with African-Americans they don’t know. In a blog post, the Review‘s editor Rich Lowry expressed how Derbyshire’s column “The Talk: Nonblack Version” in Taki’s Magazine resulted in his dismissal. “So there has to be a parting of the ways,” Lowry wrote. “Derb has long danced around the line on these issues, but this column is so outlandish it constitutes a kind of letter of resignation.” He added: “It’s a free country, and Derb can write whatever he wants, wherever he wants. Just not in the pages of NR or NRO, or as someone associated with NR any longer.” Derbyshire has had a history of not only controversial racist comments, but also publicly sharing homophobic and misogynistic views as well.

The National Review is standing athwart history and shouting..I'm sorry, didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
I had never heard of him until this dust-up...
Never swear "allegiance" to anything other than the 'right to change your mind'! National Review believes in free speech, in the same manner liberals do. Do you people really believe there's a "left" and "right" media? LMAO!

Yes I do. Judge Napolitano's take is vastly different then say Rachel Maddow.
Me neither. What did you think of his column. I think there was a lot of truth in it. I don't think blacks are inferior to whites. I think they score less on tests and are locked up more in jail because of their upbringing and the culture they are immersed in.
