United States News Title: Confederate History Month (April) Honors the U.S. Constitution Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 7:27AM The education system in America refuses to teach the truth about the Civil War. It's difficult to find the truth because the main stream media and entertainment industry ignores the facts and refuses to portray an accurate history of the Confederacy. We can all learn something from the embattled young man in the video below. He has had to fight to keep the Confederate Battle Flag on display in his room at the University of Georgia. Not all African Americans are subversives like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, who seek to destroy the Republic for personal gain and fortune. Take time to watch the video from this African American college student, who seeks the truth rather than accepting the misinformation taught in the "politically correct" education system. I was born and raised in Georgia and went to college there also. Clarence Thomas went to high school with my brother in south Georgia. I met him briefly a few times. Clarence went on to become a Supreme Court Justice, and a true patriot fighting for the Constitution. My brother become a far left, radical sociologist who Obama has disappointed by being too "conservative". Go figure? From GoGreen58 April is Confederate History Month. This month I hope people will be open minded and research this about the south that you have never read or heard before. It's time for people to stop hating something for our people's reason. Hop off the hate bandwagon and form your own opinion. It's our jobs as supporters of the south's heritage to help educate people, but do it in a southern gentleman like manner. I hate that the history books make the south seem like the worst place on earth. They make us all look like ignorant racist, and it's time to fight back. Everything about the north wasn't pretty, and the north sugar coated its racism (look at racial events that happened during the black migrant). Look what our America flag has done over its history (I love the America flag, but I'm just telling the truth). We are Americans and our history deserves to be in the history books. They treat our history like they treat the British history, no respect. Also, we need to push for a southern movie that shows blacks, whites, Indians, Hispanics, and etc fighting together during the Civil War. The movie Glory shows how the North separates the black troops from the white troops, so let's show the south's side of things. We have to show people that we are not RACIST people, and that ignorant racist people gave our Confederate flags a bad name. We don't need to be afraid to flag our colors anymore, because it's time for people to stop judging us for having the flag. As a matter of fact, we need to try educating NAACP, Jessie Jackson, and Al Sharpton to respect the black troops that fought for the south. It's time for us to light up the darkness and become more united. Let's put the hatred and racism behind us and move forward together.
