TEHRAN (FNA)- Secretary-General of Pakistan's Muslim League Party Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed underlined that his country would oppose any attack on Iran and would never allow its territory to be used against Iran.
The secretary-general of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-i-Azam (PML-Q), a coalition partner, said Islamabad stands against a US attack on Iran and would not allow anyone to use its soil for attacking Iran.
Speaking to reporters at the Parliament House after attending a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS), Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed observed that his party had also flouted proposal before the committee to oppose any American adventurism against Iran.
The PML-Q also proposed that NATO supply should be confined to food items and medicines only and weapons and arms should tot be allowed to pass through Pakistani territories to Afghanistan.
"Supply of weapons, arms and ammunition must not be allowed to NATO forces through Pakistan" he commented. He further added that his party supported conditional restoration of NATO supply as well as limiting it to food items and medicines alone.
He further told the media that committee agreed to delete three controversial recommendations related to permitting foreign intelligence operatives inside Pakistan, granting Pakistani airbases and military bases to foreign forces on Pakistani soil.
