If you let them kill you it's a homicide, if you defend yourself it's "civilians killing each other" according to the GoofyMon definition. You can let them kill you, so that you don't add to the self defence numbers. It might be considered suicide when you get to the pearly gates though.

It is not an obscene law, and you have a right to defend yourself with or without that law. You can kill someone by throwing a rock through a windshield. I didn't read your story, but was he driving?

The only people that don't like self defense laws are criminals, looney toons, politically naive and those who are afraid of guns..... People have the right to self defense no matter what anybody or any piece of paper says, it's the "PROPER" thing to do....
