I’ve had people tell me that using the phrase “war on women” is an exaggeration. After all, they argue, women aren’t in any sort of physical danger. Yes, politicians may be trying to force them into a role — the mother, the wife, the stay at home caregiver — that they may not entirely want, but no one is trying to literally hurt them. Wrong. Meet Wisconsin Rep. Don Pridemore. He’s best known for his avid support of Wisconsin’s puppy mills, but he is the co-sponsor of the bill that declares single mothers are a cause of child abuse. Pridemore apparently is positioning himself as an expert on abuse, since he also has some very helpful advice for women who are victims of domestic violence. Don’t leave him, just try to remember what you loved about him in the first place. “Representative Don Pridemore, told TODAY’S TMJ4 he thinks even in abusive relationships, there are other options than divorce. ‘If they can refind those reasons and get back to why they got married in the first place it might help,’ said Representative Don Pridemore.” And without even a trace of irony, he also claims that the reason women can’t single parent — one of the reasons he supports the bill — is because children will “go astray” since the father is usually the “disciplinarian.” So to clarify, single parent homes run by mothers cause child abuse, but if there is spousal abuse in a two parent home the wife should stay with her husband, especially since he is needed because he is obviously the disciplinarian. Let him beat you, let him beat your children, whatever it goes on in a house is just fine as long as you stay married. Yes, there really is a war on women.

They should be allowed to do that. Without any kind of license or anything. They should treat the animals humanely. If animals are abused there are laws on the book to deal with that. Say I started doing this then started breeding more dogs. That would be ok too. What is wrong with that? You are providing a kid with a pet. I also think spaying or neutering dogs without their consent is cruel and should be illegal.
That is the problem with 'puppy mills'. $$$ is their only motive not the care of the animals. Google the topic and I think you will be disgusted.

Some pet store that used to be there. It is a great dog. I was somewhere someplace once and some snobby person said "oh you got your dog there, don't they get their dogs from puppy mills". Screw her I'll buy my dog where I want to. I'm sure there are abuses of dogs being bred. I seriously doubt whoever it was upthread in the article that was said to support "puppy mills" doesn't really support abusing animals like the article subtly makes.

I have two 4 month old female puppies that I got from the "significant other" of an infamous dog abuser/puppy mill runner. They were her puppies not his they claimed. This scum bag just got six months for abusing dogs. They found about 30 frozen dog carcasses in his dog lot when they busted him. There were over a HUNDRED starving dogs in his lot. Several were FROZEN DOWN unable to get up. People around here are up in arms about it. I have stopped several people from going over there and killing that repulsive piece of sh!t. They were ready to wreck their lives over this, which I think is insane. I had intended to get only one puppy, but knowing that I was getting them from a known dog abuser and his "spouse", I took two. I figured that I was saving them from these creeps. Four is the most dogs you can have here before you need a Mat- Su borough kennel license. The scuttlebutt is that this scum bag is a 100% alcoholic who sold puppies for his daily fix. I don't know if it is true. I do know that he is a convicted dog abuser and puppy mill operator. My gurls are healthy and happy gurls. They shine blue black in the sunlight and play for HOURS. Frank Rich WILL get what he deserves. But none of my brothers and sisters are going to wreck their lives to wreck his. Unless they FAIL, like getting three sheets to the breeze and acting out. Puppy mills and decent breeders have nothing in common.
