Mitt Romney for better or worse.
Interesting choice of words...... In a head to head showdown - what do you think Mr Romney will promise....that will attract the required number of "Independents" to cast their votes for him? I doubt that anyone will take him seriously if he tries to attack "ObamaCare" - He continues to tell his followers that he has "the experience" but he struggles to connect with the middle class..... - even his own party seems reluctant to get behind him as a candidate........ What will he propose that will make a cynical independent care enough to show up at the polls and push the "Mitt button"?
The only thing that could possible stop Obama from getting booted out of office is if Buddy Roemer gets the America's Elect nomination and catches fire like Perot in 1992. The changes of this happening are very slim.
Do you really think that November will bring some sort of "groundswell" of anti- Obama activism? Do you think that Mitt Romney has what it takes to rally moderate Democrats and Independents to his cause? Mitt is having trouble attracting rank and file republicans - it is doubtful that his "not Obama" approach will win the hearts and minds of the unaffiliated majority.... What do you think Mr. Romney will put on the table?
There's quite a few here who consider themselves to be the next Moses. Too bad their predictions consistently seem to be wrong. Oh well, there's always next time.

The election is going to be a referendum on Obama's failed policies. Everyone in the GOP is horrified at the thought of Obama having a second term. Independents have abadonned him. His handling of the economy is wildly unpopular. An overwhelming majority want to repeal Obama. If Romney can stay on message about the economy, he'll win the election easily.
Obomba in the debates (( fannie mae - freddie mac )) said ... " we tried deregulation (( privatization - civilization ) --- it didn't work " ! We're headed for a total cannibalization of the country - world ! We're in a total holocaust2 with out anyone saying a word ! Our safety - financial - intellectual - moral infrastructure is being run by marxist liars - thieves - arsonists - perverts - organized criminals ! Except for possibly - temporarily (( Roberts - Thomas - Scalia - Alito )) the USSC ... you could just as well say - soon --- the whole of the judicial infrastructure also ! Our floundering fathers ! One more term of this ... kenyan - kommunist --- good bye America !

Ryan does not appeal to the unaffiliated..... Ryan appeals only to the far right. and by far right - I mean the gopers who would vote for anybody with an "r" following their name. Clint Eastwood? His primary appeal is to the angry old-fart white guy vote. the gop has that demographic all locked up. IMHO
