Sen. Barack Obama said firmly that families are off-limits in the campaign for president, reacting to news that GOP running mate Sarah Palin's 17-year-old daughter is pregnant.
"Let me be as clear as possible," Obama said. "I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits. This shouldn't be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin's performance as governor or her potential performance as a vice president."
Obama said reporters should "back off these kinds of stories" and noted that he was born to an 18-year-old mother.
"Let me be as clear as possible," Obama said. "I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits. This shouldn't be part of our politics."

Just a few months ago the two-faced hypocrate brought up his daughters in talking about the government’s decision to keep the Plan B morning-after pill available only to those 17 or older, rather than allowing it to be openly sold on drugstore shelves.
The Moocher frequently brings up her daughters while talking about her campaign against obesity, and she actually believes this gives her the right to push her obsession with her FAT ASS onto private citizens and their children.
The PIMP and his WH HO invokes their daughters in every important issue where they see them, not as a father and mother would, but as political assets.
If that sorry, bony ass community organizer doesn't want his daughters brought into politics, then he should stop using them as a humanshield to pass legislations concerning 'taxpayer funded contracpetives' in religeous schools, or 'aborton', or anything that concerns pawning off his godless beliefs on the American public.
Why the hell would you, or any average citizen defend that filthy pile of shit? As far as the Obama's go, you aren't even on the same planet they are, the only time you'd ever get their attention, is if one of them looked down to see what it was they stepped on. JMHO!
