Nations rise and fall. Where are the great nations of the past? Why did they fall? The answer is: God judged them and in judging them, He destroyed them. How does God destroy nations? Like the nations which the LORD destroys before you, so shall you too perish for not heeding the voice of the LORD, your God. Deuteronomy Chapter 8
