Yeah. We're psychos together...8D A very good friend of mine growing up was/is a mechanic. Guy can fix anything. With Duct tape and bailing wire if he has to. I had a problem with my tractor and asked him what he thought the problem was. First thing he asked: 'Does it have any gas?' It did not. Occam's razor: Always do/think the obvious first....;}
sometimes the catalytic converter is plugged up !
And after checking the gas, check the exhaust. ;}
Changing fuel filters can help ! I had the best running nissan pick up truck ! My nephew ran it out of fuel ! I had to change the injector plugs ! Had to buy rebuilt because the new were too expensive ! On my car I only buy premium (( more HP - miles )) hoping it will help ! The truck was geared too low so I put taller tires on the back ! It increased the mileage by over 10 % ! The speed - mileage would gauge lower so potentially I could get a speeding ticket if I wasn't carefull ! I was going to do the same to my Impala until it dawned on me it was a front wheel drive !
Only idiots purchase premium gas. Unless, of course, your user manual calls for it.

My Home Ec class must have had quite different content than yours. We did mundane stuff like how to feed a family of four on a dollar a day.
I remember cooking, but nothing about lesbians. In PE we were told we should learn to play golf to support our husband's business interests.
Since we had some guys in my Home Ec class for the obvious reason, they sure would have been disappointed.
Guys in home ec - now that would've been shocking.
They didn't do much cooking but weren't finicky about eating the failures. My Varsity football playing brother took Home Ec a couple of years before, I believe he was one of the first.
Good for him!
