Youcef Nadarkhani has been executed in Iran. He is the Christian pastor who has been imprisoned and found guilty by the courts in Iran of being a Christian. Now he’s been executed in spite of international appeals to spare his life. He was hanged today.
Youcef Nadarkhani was arrested in 2009 for being a Christian in a muslim country – specifically Iran. The 34-year-old father and husband was charged with refusing to convert to Islam. He was given the opportunity to renounce his Christian religion and refused, resulting is his condemnation and sentence to death by hanging.
There is breaking news that he has been put to death by hanging because of his refusal to renounce his Christian religion and acceptance of islam.

My question, why all the gloom...after all, should he be dispatched from life on this planet, won't he be going to 'heaven' to experience the glory of god for eternity? As one of my friends told me: "We are taught to believe it all -- Old Testament, New Testament, and Koran". Muslims believe different things about Jesus than you and I do. They believe that Jesus was as prophet. Jews believed that Jesus is either A.) a fiction or B.) a fraud. These are called facts.

Article 13 of the Iranian Constitution, recognizes Christians as People of the Book and they are granted the right to exercise religious freedom in Iran. Yet they are condemning to death this Christian pastor. Christians worldwide support each other. Christ knows no international borders.

The historical, 2,000 year old Christian belief is that once Jews rejected Christ, the Christian church became god's chosen people. So, all references to Israel (the chosen people) in the New Testament refer to people who believe in Christ. This is what Christians have believed for nearly 2,000 years. The Bible talks about false prophets in the end times. So, what do you believe -- traditional Christianity, or John Darby who made things up 150 years ago? Who is the real false profit -- 2,000 year old Christian history or 150 year old nonsense. This is an important question.
