Well, well! A Republican doctor from Texas was found to have been defrauding the American people of over $375,000,000 by taking advantage of the Medicare system. How’s that for irony? A Republican taking advantage of a free government program for their own personal gain – who’d have thunk it?Dr. Jacques Roy – whose name may or may not be a Bond villain – would pay homeless people $50 to sign off on documents that gave him and his practice money for that homeless person’s supposed healthcare. Since that $50 investment could in some cases return the doctor hundreds of thousands of dollars, Roy was able to rack up nearly $400 million in government money over a course of six years.
