The drought from 1995-1997 was worse than the current drought. I know because I was here in both periods, then and now.

Things are better this year than last year. Last year in Central Texas the Spring rains stopped in late March and we did not see a heavy rain until around Christmas. This year the Spring rains and thunderstorms continued through last week. Big difference. This time last year the temps were hanging around 105 and now they are hanging around 95.

Last year my team had no rainout games and this year there were two. Considering we had games once or twice a week, that makes a big difference.

So there you have it, straight from the source.

Seeing as how the Golden Dawn (neo-Nazi) party has gained a good deal of popularity in Greece in its most recent national elections (GD obtained its first presence in the House of Parliament), this issue of radically reactionary policy is nothing if not very relevant to the process of financial, economic and sociopolitical collapse. It is exactly the type of blowback against "the system" that TAE has been warning about for some time.

What has actually happened here in this country on these rare occasions when people have stood up en masse to Fight the Power? In a previous lifetime, I investigated and created a documentary about the Battle at Blair Mountain. You will likely not have heard of this, the teaching of labor history having apparently been classified as a Class I misdemeanor here in the FSA. In the largest uprising in the United States outside of the Civil War, in 1921, thousands of miners waged armed warfare in Logan County, West Virginia against mine owners, sheriff Don Chafin, and federal troops, in an effort to unionize the mines.

In Mingo, Logan and McDowell counties, miners worked under incredibly bad conditions, were paid next to nothing, had no freedom of speech or assembly, and were dispatched with impunity by mine guards and local politicos in an atmosphere reminiscent of a third-world dictatorship, or contemporary South Carolina. In 1921, thousands of miners and families were evicted from their tents after having the temerity to join a union. The Miners' March, as it was called, was set to change all that. The military was engaged, as always, to Protect Property Rights, those most sacred and revered of all rights extended by the Hand of God to the white, male property owners who created the FSA.

BREAKING NEWS: Americans required to add Star of David to U.S. flags by July 4th: Velcro stars available at most post offices

by David Morris

WASHINGTON (USMediaAndIsrael.com) – Congress today passed a bipartisan bill requiring Americans to add Israel’s Star of David to the U.S. flag for the week of July 4th. Rep. Hugh Llewellyn III (R-Alabama) and Sen. Dale Wentworth (D-New Jersey) introduced the legislation during a special session.

From the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, Sen. Wentworth told reporters:

“This act is to symbolize our unconditional support of the great nation of Israel, and recognizes that in many ways Israel is already America’s 51st state. Thanks to our foreign aid, Israel’s per capita income rivals our own.”"

Both Congressmen recently received $25 million in contributions from the Friends of Zionism (FIZ). In response to reporters’ questions, Rep. Llewellyn replied that, unlike the $15 million Presidential candidate Gingrich received from Sheldon Adelson, his donation had no strings attached:....;}

"The tell-tale sign that the US is run by foreign elites seeking to control our political system is obvious: the two remaining Presidential candidates are near equally desirous of pleasing foreigners in Israel or dual Israeli citizens in the US. This is simple to understand: money talks. Rich Jews cynically buy votes thinking this will prevent anti-semitism via suppression of human rights and civil rights of free speech via government suppression of free speech. And of course, wars against perceived enemies of Jewish ethnic cleansing.

The US embargo of Iran is collapsing bit by tiny bit, more and more the rest of humanity is discovering or creating various economic, banking and insurance systems to override the Zionist global push to isolate a major oil export power.....;}

Violence is again on the rise in southern Afghanistan tonight, following a pre-dawn attack on a NATO base which has produced several different stories and a number of other strikes elsewhere.

Exactly what happened in the pre-dawn attack is unclear, with the Taliban claiming over 40 NATO troops killed, NATO claiming no one killed, and other reports putting the toll anywhere in between the two figures."

Tens of foreign and internal enemy troops killed and wounded in today’s attacks

Early this morning (19/06/2012) as part of spring Al-Farooq campaign, martyrdom seekers of Islamic Emirate launched attacks on two enemy bases in Kandahar province which left tens of foreign troops and their internal hirelings dead and wounded.

The first attack took place at around 03:00 am local time in Shahwalikot district on a NATO base in Dahli Band area when 6 martyrdom seekers (one group comprised of Hafiz Ismail, Abdul Bar and lead by Ahmad Khalil and another group comprised Atta ur Rahman, Wali ullah and lead by Yousuf; all residents of Kandahar) armed with AKs, PKs, RPGs, hand grenades and explosives vests stormed inside and easily reached the enemy residential barracks where they opened fire on the shocked and unprepared enemy with small arms from a very close range.

According to received reports, the Mujahideen took over the base after 3 hours, set fire to the enemy barracks and equipment and carried on fighting for 5 more hours after which all the Mujahideen embraced martyrdom and at the same time killed 30 foreign invaders, wounded 14 others and similarly destroyed 12 military vehicles and 8 fuel tankers with heavy arms fire."

Note the detail....;}

"The majority of each of the charges carries the possibility of up to 10 years in prison. So, even if he did not get life in prison, he could be in prison for life because the charges could add up to quite a long sentence.

Manning has been imprisoned for over 700 days, leading many supporters to argue he has been the subject of preemptive prosecution. He was arrested in June 2010. He was briefly held in Kuwait before being transferred to Quantico Marine brig in Virginia. There he was subjected to inhumane treatment and kept in isolation because the Marines placed him on "prevention of injury" (POI) watch, contending he might try to commit suicide. Psychologists disputed this and the designation was likely a form of retaliation that commonly occurs to alleged whistle-blowers. He was stripped naked and forced to sleep without any clothes two nights in a row in the spring of 2011. This created a large amount of controversy for the Obama administration and Manning was transferred from Quantico to Fort Leavenworth in Kansas in April 2011."

The question each of us has to address is, Which side are you on? If you knew that those in control were working to box you into a freight car headed to an unknown future, but which would likely involve Fresh Towels and Hot Showers, would you get on the train or would you take the fight to them?

And would you take the fight to them knowing that they controlled all of the vectors and tools of violence with force overwhelming to individual scale? Indeed, our elites have changed the laws to enable the military to operate with impunity here in the "North American battleground"

(yes, friends, if you are paying the least bit of attention, we are indeed the enemy), as they have likewise militarized our local police forces, complete with spiffy looking SWAT team suits, armored vehicles. and drones, as the latest invention.

We have as our president the only Nobel Peace Prize winner with a personal kill list. So it may be well to say that we're living in a time where the lessons of history no longer inform what we may be able to infer about the future. All bets are off.

by Dr. Jeff Masters, WunderBlog, June 18, 2012

Insured damage from a massive 3-hour hailstorm that pummeled Dallas, Texas, on Wednesday, June 13,

may reach $2 billion,

said the Southwestern Insurance Information Service (SIIS) on Friday. If true, this would be the 4th billion-dollar U.S. weather disaster of 2012. A cluster of 3 severe thunderstorms dropped hail the size of baseballs over a heavily populated area, damaging thousands of cars, puncturing skylights at a local mall, and shattering the expensive tile roofs of hundreds of homes. It was the second major hailstorm to hit the region this year; an April 3 event cost close to $500 million and damaged 110 airplanes at the DFW airport.

We also know observing what is going on right now around the world in impoverished countries that the people do not start Rioting and overthrowing their Goobermints UNTIL they are starving. So why were people here rioting if they weren’t starving? Makes no sense.

We also know that opportunistic infections and diseases like Tuberculosis and Pneumonia and Rickets were rampant during the Great Depression. Somehow these diseases became more virulent even though nobody was Starving? Not likely, the reason there were more epidemics of these things is likely because the population as a whole was weakened by malnourishment. So on the Death Certificate it doesn’t get recorded as Starvation, but as Pneumonia. In reality, they starved.

Man, if it looks like a Dead Fish; if it smells like a Dead Fish, it IS a Dead Fish. People definitely did starve during the Great Depression, but no records were ever published on how many it actually was. At a certain point the MSM just ignored it. It would not have played very well against FDRs Fireside Chats preaching Hope and “the only thing we have to Fear is Fear itself”. Sound familiar? Goobermint Hopium.

I'm NOT going to treat you as if you were a functioning decent human being SCUM, because you are not.

You jumped the shark by shitting on your own brother.

Which is OBVIOUSLY the real source of your mental and emotional problems. Obviously your brother was your elder. He was obviously LOVED and ADORED by your mother whose love of him you were and are jealous of.

Add this to the fact that your brother's death at ANZIO was a heroic or at the very least a very BRAVE act, you were really able to gen up a white hot hate for HIM and HIS CAUSE.

You always had to live in the shadow of HIS life and death, you had to accept that his life and death were heroic and substantsive as opposed to your own cowardly and meaningless term.

EVERYONE in your family and neighbors knew that you were and are the lesser of the two "men".

I don't debate mentally ill, intellectually dishonest LYING COWARDS, (dat's you jimmmy boy).

You aren't even capable of writing a basic third grade level sentence. You just make shit up, you never provide accepted form citations to your absurd made up shit, because, it's, well, ... it's absurd made up shit.

My ONLY purpose in engaging with you as if you were sane or even decent is to show EVERYONE what SCUM you really are, by dint of letting you gibber away in your own words SCUM.

Bloviate away SCUM.

Spoiled, stupid and ignorant, brain dead phuckwads, libTURD fools, tools, and idiots, are the real sickness; the messiah "king" obammy and his regime are only the symptoms.

Jimmy: "CLIMATE CHANGE....fundy's.....expect more as the Arctic has passed 400 ppm of CO2 now....;}

Thanks for the warning Jim. I see you have joined the "high priest" of carbon credits, Algorie:

OUCH! That's gonna leave a mark (other than "666"). Chick +1, McGowan and Gore, ZERO :-)

Need some Arctic "ice" for that, Jimmy? Ask Gaia. No...BEG her. Maybe THIS is the year that sadistic godess of yours (and Algore's) rolls out 'Ice Age, Part II' and again murders billions of living creatures - you know, like the ones whose fossils and bones she's left in her perpetual menopausal wake throughout history.

Jimmy...can you answer these questions:

WHY has Gaia been soooo mean to the Earth's inhabitants? Why has she turned planet earth upside down (and doomed all the plants and creatures living at jungles at the poles?) Hmmm...maybe Dinosaurs DID use fossil fuels....

Dawg, I dunno where and how Jimmy jumped the shark...

Here's a guy searching for the truth...but wanting so very much to blame the God he believes doesn't exist - and (in his warped eyes) His enablers: "Fundies"...

The answer to his riddle is smack-dab in front of his face. A mirror.

It is the sin of man - HIS greed, HIS envy, HIS evil, HIS lies, HIS entitlement, HIS enslavement that Jimmy sez he opposes but actually endorses. That's called "hypocrisy". And the ultimate elitism. JUST LIKE THE ALGORES and 0BUMAS of this world.

Yet and still the sadistic ant-Christ/anarchist is rooting for the earth to commit suicide. AGAIN. One might think an atheist or Gaia-worshiper would say, "MO MAS!" - that the Ice Age and Great Flood were enough punishment.

Jimmy, as you sit in judgment of your own Ivory Tower (hmmm, how many elephants did Gaia kill for that??), what inner satisfaction do YOU hope to gain from wishing ill of "Fundies" and the rest of earth's inhabitants?

Yep, I can see this Chick Tract just fine, Red...Jimmy can too (and by coincidence, "Jimmy" was the name of the Christian beaten by the rebel/anarchist/fascist brother.)

THE perfect toon that highlights useful Leftist-Anarchist tools like mcgowan.

YOUR future, Jimbo. Why would the elites need YOU after the SHTF? Go ahead - take out all the "Fundies" and Capitalists you want and watch as YOUR OWN world degrades into the hell you think it is already. You ain't seen nothin' yet. But don't say you haven't been forewarned.

I was taught to "be a Roman in TRUTH".

Which means that you seek the truth without reservation. With COURAGE.

No honest person who lives in THIS world doubts the reality of GOD.

Whenever I see people say "I see no evidence of GOD in this world" it amazes and confuses me a bit.

I see EVIDENCE of GOD EVERYWHERE.

With every breath that I take, when my puppies shred the immediate area, in EVERY tree and bush and bird and critter. In the children and the elders of the hood. EVERYWHERE there is order and structure.

ORDER and STRUCTURE do NOT just fall out of chaos over infinite time.

You have to deny the entire universe to deny HIM.

Then,

WITHOUT HIM, any stupid thing is possible.

Such as hating your own brother so much that you devote your life to destroying what he DIED for.

IMO, "libTURDISM is a terminal mental disease."

Look at the so called "writing" that jimma boy pumps out. It's jimma boy. It's LIES it's WRONG it's insane and stupid and most of all it's filled with HATE for everything most of us LOVE.

jimma boy should be held up as an object of scorn and ridicule and in the end pity.

If he wasn't so repulsive he'd be funny.

As it is he's just absurd and foul.

Spoiled, stupid and ignorant, brain dead phuckwads, libTURD fools, tools, and idiots, are the real sickness; the messiah "king" obammy and his regime are only the symptoms.

Again, you hit the mark. BULLSEYE.

Somewhere, somehow I believe Jimmy is projecting an abuse and lies HE has received down the line.

I'd like to see him admit to and resolve the source of his addictive hate of God and His people, but first he'll have to admit he's got a problem that utterly CONSUMES him...and then call out the name of The One (and NOT 0buma) who CAN help.

We are ALL products of our own lives.

MOST of us are able to transcend our limitations and go on with the trivia of everyday life.

BUT a percentage always falls out.

jimma is a broken person. It's OBVIOUS that he lives on his spit flecked HATE of most of what we love.

WHY he hates is another subject that frankly outside of fucking with him I have no real interest in.

I just want to make sure that decent people see what he and his ilk really ARE. Which is hate filled insane Hate America FIRST! illiterate useful idiots.

Being a witness to my own individual take on what is objective TRUTH is my only goal on these forums.

My job is to SAY what others fear to even think.

FTW.

When was the last time a foreign country won a war in Afghanistan? I think you have to go back to the seventh century to find one, so WTH are we still doing there?

We'll never know the real reasons we ever stepped foot in that country.

“I hate war as only a soldier who has lived it can, only as one who has seen its brutality, its futility, its stupidity.” - Dwight D. Eisenhower “My first wish is to see this plague of mankind, war, banished from the earth.” – George Washington “You can’t say civilization don’t advance… in every war they kill you in a new way.” – Will Rogers

We know the EXACT reasons now.

To Pipeline oil/gas thru to Chindia/SE Asia while bypassing/containing Iran and containing Russia.

And get a ready supply of the World's Largest source of Opium.

The War for the JEWS.

Netanyahu in NYC the Day of 9/11 when asked the effect of same.

"It will be good, very good for Israel."....;}

And of course the Trillions spent on the MIC....always the MIC....;}

All the while Covering up the Last Big Bubble which itself covered PEAK OIL.....;}

All over now as the USSA implodes/disintegrates.

ignorance knows no bounds....;}

" General Sergei Akhromeyev, commander of the Soviet armed forces, address(ed) the Soviet Politburo in 1986. "There is no piece of land in Afghanistan that has not been occupied by one of our soldiers at some time or another. Nevertheless much of the territory stays in the hands of the terrorists. We control the provincial centres, but we cannot maintain political control over the territory we seize."… General Akhromeyev demanded extra troops – or the war in Afghanistan would continue "for a very, very long time".

And how's this for a quotation from, say, a British or US commander in Helmand today? "Our soldiers are not to blame. They've fought incredibly bravely in adverse conditions. But to occupy towns and villages temporarily has little value in such a vast land where the insurgents can just disappear into the hills." Yes, of course, this was Gen Akhromeyev in 1986[152] .

The American war in Afghanistan will end after NATO country militaries withdraw. This process began with the Dutch in 2010, the Canadians in 2011 and will accelerate in 2011.

The Germans have now announced an exit date for 2011[153]. No amount of purchased or bribed Croatian, Mongolian, Lithuanian, Georgian and other such troops can replace the old NATO contingents. In the end, bodies tell the story, America’s lost war in Afghanistan will cease, cut by the scissors of Afghan bodies and mounting U.S. military bodies (Figure 1).
