This is low quality garbage even for the site's designated/protected troll. There was no such thing as Jordan till the 1920s. People have continuously lived in the area known as Palestine for thousands of years. The people known as Palestinians are the descendants of those who were living there in Roman times, the vast majority of whom were NOT exiled by the Romans after the 70 AD rebellion. When the Zionist program was first articulated in the late 19th Century, it called the area "a land without people for a people without a land," once the Zionist congress decided Uganda and Argentina wouldn't do. Boy, were they surprised to find out that hundreds of thousands of people were actually living there. This included thousands of Orthodox Jews who never left, most of whom have still refused to recognize the state of Israel, which they consider the work of a "false prophet. If the troll wants to get into a debate about Palestine, let him, he should be warned that i was born there and most of my relatives still live there. He appears to know even less about this topic than he does about energy.

As for your question, allissun, i think he meant to say "the Palestinian Authority." He often leaves sentences unfinished.
The Limits to Growth - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Limits_to_Growth

Undo The Limits to Growth is a 1972 book about the computer modeling of unchecked ... It was commissioned by the Club of Rome and was first presented at the 3.

We're asked to believe 11 impossible things before breakfast, and a half-dozen more after lunch, and in the absence of a coherent explanation we get speculation and surmise from people who may or may not know what they're talking about. The true story, leaking slowly in dribs and drabs, goes beyond a catfight over the affections of a general, or a turf war between the FBI and the CIA.

We're asked to believe that the FBI investigation into the general's affair, with its enormous national-security implications, was conducted over a period of weeks and the president was never told anything about it until Mr. Petraeus submitted his resignation. A half-dozen government agencies, in this fanciful telling of the story, treated the president as if he were a virgin in a bordello, all to preserve his "innocence" in the final weeks of a bitter election campaign. If the president didn't know what was going on upstairs, this is incompetence bordering on criminal malfeasance.

Want to know how Rome fell? U're livin' the history now. Petraeus.....Could've been the name of a Legatus Legionis Imperator who had gone one step too far and Marcus Aurelias had to put him back in his place.....;}

Or better: Another way of looking at it Good link from MarxMarvelous in the comments: "Are the Twins Operatives for a Foreign Intelligence Agency?" I'm struggling to see that Paula Broadwell actually did anything wrong (they're going to hang her on her research, which seems to be more the fault of Petraeus than her). In fact, is it possible that her efforts were an attempt at getting a potential national security threat away from Petraeus? I know we're supposed to see her as the crazy woman scorned, but, absent some strange and possibly criminal actions by a bizarro FBI, she might have been able to stop a mini coup d'etat.

President Mohamed Morsi of Egypt renewed his warning on Thursday that his country considers the Israeli assault on the people of Gaza—what many consider to be the largest open-air prison on the planet—an act of outright aggression and vowed to stand by Palestinians.

Another way of looking at it: This is evil of an unusual kind, evil that delights in its own cruelty, evil that seeks no end other than the satisfaction of watching its victims suffer for years on end, with a glimmer of hope offered now and then -- but solely for the purpose of making the suffering to come even more painful. And there is no end in sight. posted by Arthur Silber

The fissure that opened up Election Night for the GOPers.....

Ayn Rand’s Atheists are Crashing the Tea Party November 4th, 2011 at 2:45 pm Gary Weiss | 189 Comments |

"What we are seeing here, breaking out into the open, is a fundamental problem that has largely lain dormant: the far right, the Tea Party and much of the Republican Party, in their embrace of libertarian positions that are heavily influenced by Ayn Rand, are flirting with atheism. That’s a troubling issue for the right—at the very minimum a source of division—that could alienate the religious right within the Republican Party and Tea Party movement. A Heritage Foundation blogger expressed the religious right’s dismay with Paul’s position, saying that “If we focus too narrowly on people’s individual autonomy, we’re less likely to foster a sense of responsibility for one another through family, church, and community, leaving individuals more likely to turn to the state to meet their needs.”

You see, Ayn Rand and Christianity do not mix. The closer the Republican Party moves to Ron Paul and Rand-influenced libertarians, the more it will have to grapple with a rejection of religion that is more customarily considered to be a trait of the left than the right."

None of the factions acknowledge that the operation of the machine itself … is what undermines it. The present devours the future faster and faster: the cost of each fill-up becomes more crushing as the machine annihilates with constantly greater scope and efficiency what it needs to run. The only returns are ‘money’ for the despised tycoons while the rest must be satisfied with the thin gruel of ‘We’re Number One’ and other inconsequential generalities. Meanwhile, the life support on our space ship is fed into the furnace.

– Obama the Ironic: no doubt airports across the country will be renamed for the president just as the airline industry collapses due to fuel shortages … that are denied by Obama. – Obama the Ironic part two: sometime within the next four-plus years the president is going to have to tell the American public the truth about energy supplies: we’ve run out and cannot afford to burn any more for endeavors that don’t pay for themselves — which means fuel for agriculture and some basic services and nothing else! Here is something to live for … and watch on live TV. http://www.chris-floyd.com/compo...est-invasion-of-gaza.html

during the American crucifixion of the Iraqi city of Fallujah:

One of the first moves in this magnificent feat was the destruction and capture of medical centers. Twenty doctors – and their patients, including women and children – were killed in an airstrike on one major clinic, the UN Information Service reports, while the city's main hospital was seized in the early hours of the ground assault. Why? Because these places of healing could be used as "propaganda centers," the Pentagon's "information warfare" specialists told the NY Times. ...

Another interesting question is who we first lied to, ourselves or others. I personally lean to the former option lately, since we couldn't have known the advantages of lying to others beforehand. Whereas fooling ourselves could potentially have developed as a much more insidious, secretive, step by step feature.

Likely purely as a survival mechanism, after extremely traumatic experiences. To have such experiences, you need awareness, consciousness, either/or. Probably a sense of belonging to a group, a family, as well as a sense of what's right and what's not. If, in that state, you see your friends and family get killed off by a natural disaster or the cruelty of other humans, you need some sort of selective memory, some kind of denial mechanism, in order to survive both mentally and physically, and to find meaning in your life, a pre-requisite for who has awareness and is not a full-fledged psychopath.

You can find out how frequently a thunderous explosion would strike nearby if you were in a densely populated area of Gaza - roughly every fifteen minutes. That's four times an hour you would narrowly miss death, without even leaving your house. You could work out how much sleep it's possible to get with that on your mind. You can find out from Paul Danahar of the BBC that half of the casualties taken to Shifa hospital from the last aerial attack in the north of Gaza city are children - but ironically not from the BBC. You have to look at his Twitter account to find this out. You can find out how Palestinians are coping - families of seven moving into single rooms, avoiding exposure as far as possible, huddling together for an illusory sense of security, waiting to see if they'll be the next smoking crater with an English-speaking journalist standing next to it. Not a single UK broadcaster will tell you this, but you can find out.

In addition to Petraeus, the following officers are also either sacked or the object of scandals or investigations:

Marine General John R. Allen is in trouble. Currently the commander of US forces in Afghanistan.

General Carter Ham, commander of US Africom, whose area of responsibility includes Libya, manifestly failed to send forces to stop the attack on the Benghazi consulate and CIA post.

Admiral James G. Stavridis, the outgoing NATO Supreme Commander, has been officially reprimanded by Navy Secretary Ray Mabus for lavish spending on his personal lifestyle, including a junket to a wine dinner in France. He will soon leave his post.

General William E. “Kip” Ward, who commanded US Africom from October 2007 to March 2011, presided over the preparation and launching of the attack on Libya. On the surface, Ward is accused of spending several hundred thousand dollars of government money and resources on family members, luxury junkets, and flights.

Lieutenant General Patrick J. O’Reilly, the Director of the Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency, has also been reprimanded by the Defense Department’s Inspector General for intimidating and humiliating subordinates, thus creating a work environment characterized by one subordinate as “management by blowtorch and pliers.”

Rear Admiral Chuck Gaouette was the commander of the USS Stennis carrier battle group, currently stationed in the Arabian Sea, near Iran and other possible targets for aggression and/or Gulf of Tonkin provocations. Gaouette is currently being investigated for “inappropriate leadership judgment” while on station in the Middle East.

Brigadier General Jeffrey Sinclair, second in command of the 82nd Airborne Division stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and a key man for Afghanistan logistics, is accused of raping and having an adulterous affair with a female captain he had gotten transferred to his command.

Commander Joseph E. Darlak, commanding officer of the frigate USS Vandegrifft and two other senior officers having been removed after a drunken orgy during a visit to the port of Vladivostok, Russia.

First time is Tragedy.

The Second is Comedy.

Ehud Barak, the Israeli military chief and senior terrorist suspected of being one of the high-level planners of the 9-11 terror atrocity, is once again committing war crimes in Gaza, as he did during the lame duck period after the U.S. elections in 2008. The Israeli air force uses precision guided missiles made in America to bomb civilian targets in Gaza.

There are good journalists, who tell us that pedophile rings do actually exist, and appear to be protected.

And there are journalists, often fascists, Jews and crypro-Jews working for the spooks, who pretend that such pedophile rings probably do not exist.

The World Bank is urging stepped-up efforts to meet world carbon-reduction goals after looking at what it says would be the catastrophic consequences if average world temperatures rise more than 4 degrees Celsius (7.2 degrees Fahrenheit) by the end of the century.

In what World Bank President Jim Yong Kim acknowledged was a “doomsday scenario,” a new study by the organization cited the 4-degree increase as a threshold that would be likely to trigger widespread crop failures and malnutrition and dislocate large numbers of people from land inundated by rising seas.

BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Unknown persons opened fire from a car at Fraj al-Dersi in front of his home. He was hit by three bullets and died shortly after being taken to Benghazi medical centre, the official said, asking not to be named.

Dersi was appointed shortly after an attack on the US consulate on September 11 which cost the lives of US ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

He had occupied leading posts under the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, including post of anti-drugs chief, before joining the revolt against the former dictator when it started in February 2011.

I've noticed in the last few weeks that 'laugh, party, and kill' type words are appearing ever more often in the same sentence of your screeds.

The Road to Hell starts off as a Smooth Descent....;}

Let me give you my bottom line right here at the beginning. If you're a person who writes or speaks regularly about politics at this particular moment in the lamentable history of the lamentable United States, and if you are not "mad, bad and dangerous to know," you aren't worth shit. All you are is another prop holding up a constantly expanding, ever worsening system of colossal brutality, oppression, dehumanization and murder.

And then you find yourself shaking hands with not so pretty looking/acting people....;}
