Nayef was announced the new heir to the Saudi throne after the death of his full brother, former Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, at a New York hospital on October 22, 2011.
The 79-year-old Nayef, who was also the long-serving interior minister of Saudi Arabia, recently left the kingdom for medical treatment and was seen in Switzerland a few days ago.
Nayef had also traveled for medical reasons to a few countries including Algeria and the United States this year. The nature of his illness has not been made public.

Jun 01, 2012 Fourteen insurgents killed in failed attack in Khowst Written by RC-East Public Affairs
BAGRAM, Afghanistan – Afghan and coalition forces successfully repelled an attack on a forward operating base in Khowst province today. At around 1 p.m., several insurgents wearing suicide vests attacked the FOB in Khowst. Afghan and International Security Assistance Force service members successfully repelled the attack and secured the base. Reports indicate fourteen insurgents were killed in the attack. At this time there are no reports of ISAF fatalities.
KABUL — A June 1 attack on a U.S. outpost near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border was much worse than originally disclosed by the military as insurgents pounded the base with a truck bomb, killing two Americans and seriously wounding about three dozen troops, officials acknowledged Saturday.
The blast flattened the dining hall and post exchange at Forward Operating Base Salerno in Khost province, a frequent target of insurgents in the past. Five Afghan civilians were killed and more than 100 other U.S. troops were treated for minor injuries. U.S. officials estimated that the truck was carrying 1,500 pounds of explosives.
U.S. and Afghan military officials said they killed 14 insurgents, many of whom were wearing suicide vests."

The operation went on till the evening hours of the day in manner that Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate took the airbase under attack from both inside by 10 combatants fighting the invading forces inside the base and from outside by other Mujahideen which made the enemy forces unable to use any aerial support. Two attack helicopters and a huge military plane as well as many tanks, fuel tankers, vehicles and fuel depots were set on fire and burned to ash.
It was the worst single-day losses for the US invaders and their puppets since the “Operation AL-Farooq” began and the local and western-flounced media’s reports on this successful operation are one-sided and based on false propaganda which attempt to understate the most lethal losses inflicted on the enemies, in particular on US invaders and undermine Mujahideen success. On the other hand, locals of the area and the US invaders themselves are well aware of the ground reality which speaks for itself.

There was no immediate word on casualties. NATO said it was aware of an incident in the area but it was too early to comment. The Afghan Taliban said its fighters rammed a vehicle packed with large amounts of explosives into the base.
Violence has surged across Afghanistan since the Taliban began its yearly summer offensive in April, vowing to target Afghan government and security forces, as well as the 130,000 foreign troops in the country.
A police source said a gunbattle was raging near the base and local security forces were not able to get close to the area.

At least two of the attackers detonated their vests and Haverstick said roughly 14 insurgents died in the attack.
“They tried a complex attack ... and it failed because of the quick reaction of the forces on the ground,” Haverstick said.
The Associated Press quoted a Taliban spokesman as saying that “tens” of foreign forces were killed and wounded and that a plane on an airstrip was destroyed, though the Taliban often exaggerates casualty claims."

Several fighters, including some wearing suicide vests, attacked the base with rocket propelled grenades on Friday.
"As of now, we have reports of 14 insurgents killed," a spokesman for the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force said.
He said the attack on the forward operating base had been foiled, although he was not in a position to provide operational details. There were no casualties among either NATO or Afghan forces.

So Paul knows....at least we have a name... Haverstick said insurgents detonated a truck loaded with explosives at the entrance to the camp. The explosion allowed other insurgents to enter the compound. Two militants wearing explosive vests blew themselves up prematurely and caused no damage.
My Edit: So the insurgents are inside the base now, but since there was no one at the entrance except for a Day Care Center, no one got hurt, as the Insurgents tripped over each other in their haste to get to an actuall target inside Camp Salerno.....;}

Zabiullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban, claimed that a suicide bomber targeted the base in an explosives-filled vehicle that slipped onto the compound near where coalition troops dine. He said in a statement that after the blast, other insurgents entered the compound on foot and opened fire.
"They had suicide vests, rocket-propelled grenades, heavy machine guns and hand grenades," Mujahid said. Mujahid claimed that an airplane on an airstrip at the base was destroyed and that "tens" of foreign forces were killed and wounded. The Taliban often exaggerate the number of casualties caused by their attacks. NATO said no airplane was destroyed during the attack. Forward Operating Base Salerno has a large Soviet-built airfield.
It is near Camp Chapman, where seven CIA employees were killed in a suicide attack in December 2009. Salerno and its outlying fire bases have been the focus of repeated militant suicide, artillery and sniper attacks over the past several years. One of the most brazen of the war occurred in August, 2008, when about 100 Taliban fighters broke through the perimeter of the base.
After a two-hour fire fight, helicopter gunships forced the guerrillas to retreat. On May 19, a suicide bomber blew himself up at a police checkpoint in Ali Sher district of Khost province, killing 13 people – 10 civilians, two Afghan policemen and an Afghan border police officer. "

The state protects the life of all citizens. Unfortunately, it is only possible to provide such protection for certain individuals, and those involved have to be taken into protective custody under the direct protection of the police.
The individuals involved, who are often of the Jewish faith, have through behaviour towards the national Germany, such as through offending nationalist feelings, and so on, made themselves so unloved among the people, that they would be exposed to the anger of the people unless the police stepped in.
Less than a week later, Himmler gave instructions to open a concentration camp at Dachau. In claiming that 'protective custody' was designed to protect individuals from the wrath of the mob, he made it easy for Germans to construct stories of their own in which supposedly endangered persons were picked up for their own good.
Not only that, but according to Himmler 'often' the alleged culprits who outraged the national feelings of citizens were Jews, a statement which opened the possibility for citizens, even those who were not antisemitic, to conclude that it was good to have such 'enemies' off the streets. The comforting thought was that most prisoners in concentration camps were not at all like 'good citizens'.
Imagine for a moment that, in the aftermath of a significant terrorist attack or series of attacks within U.S. borders, the government announced, with numerous expressions of "deeply regrettable necessity" and how the government earnestly sought other alternatives but
could find none that would assure public safety, that local police departments (with additional support from the U.S. military as required) would immediately begin rounding up "terrorists," "Muslims" and/or "Arabs," as well as those suspected of being terrorist sympathizers, and confining them in detention camps. Imagine that U.S. officials said, among other things, that taking such "enemies" or potential enemies off the streets was necessary "for their own good," as well as for the protection of the public.
I have Zero doubts that with the next cheney/SS/NORAD/CIA false flag, you and yours will instantly again line up to be the state's cannon fodder.
