In a historic first in the Middle East, Saddam Hussein, the “butcher of Baghdad,” has been sentenced to death for crimes against humanity. In short, Saddam has been “Bushwhacked” and the earth’s people will be the beneficiary once his death sentence has been fulfilled, and this evil being has been permanently put out of business. Because of the historical significance of this event, President Bush deserves to be honored for acting on behalf of oppressed people throughout the world and for bringing justice to a region where the very concept has been unthinkable until now. How about a Nobel Peace prize nomination for America’s beleaguered leader? Of course, some will disagree. American liberals, for example, will demand compassion when it comes to sparing the life of Hussein. Mind you, these are the same folks who defend the murder of 47 million unborn babies since 1973 because of a non-existent “privacy” provision in the U.S. Constitution. Even now, liberals like Ramsey Clark are probably working to craft an appeal to save Saddam’s life. Forget the fact that Saddam gassed his own citizens, sent people still living to their deaths by being fed into mulching machines, and used mass graves as a way to advertise his zero tolerance for resistance. In the warped mindset of a liberal, hanging such a monster would be “cruel and unusual.” Amazingly enough, America appears to be on the brink of electing people with such distorted values to majority status in one, or both, chambers of the U.S. Congress. May God open the eyes of the voting public in time to save this great nation!
Thanks to liberating coalition forces in Iraq and the courageous leadership of President Bush, a brutal killer has been brought to justice and will pay the ultimate price.
