Callista Gingrich is set to introduce her husband Newt Gingrich at CPAC tomorrow, a source familiar with her plan tells POLITICO. Matt Drudge was the first to report the news on his website. It would be one of the rare times that Callista has had a public presence on the campaign trail, and it comes at an event that will be filled with conservatives for whom social issues are key. The speech she's supposed to give is intended to be light-hearted and descriptive about the man she's married to, the source told POLITICO. Her decision to introduce her husband is intended as the first step in what will be a broader rollout of Callista going forward - introducing the candidate at rallies, meeting with women's groups and granting press requests that the campaign had turned down for most of the cycle. Gingrich has made clear repeatedly in his stump speeches that he has made mistakes, as he talks about his marital history and infidelity, and that he is now a grandfather with a strong marriage.

Where is that YouTube video showing the picture of Callista and the bizarre musick in the background? It would be an added bonus for those loving the Grinch.
He may have bagged the younger trophy he was looking for all along. But have you noticed that Calista follows Newt everywhere he goes on the campaign trail? It looks she can't trust ole Newt to be out of her sight..
