You just become an addict that is no longer drinking,doing drugs,smoking,overeating,etc,etc,etc.,and you will be that person for all of your life. You never beat it. Difficile has mutated into a real hard to kill bug. So many OTC are hard on the stomach. Anything with HCl in the formula needs to be taken with a buffering agent or food. I could be a neurologist and the LOL is that the most helpful Doc has been the gastroenterologist.
