Do a web search for MACV-SOG Operations 35 and learn a little. It was classified as a Top Secret operation for decades,but practically everything about it is public knowledge now. INCLUDING a list of people who served and in what capacity they served. Steve Sherman even published a book with the title "The Little Yellow Book of SOG" with the names and duty assignments of almost everybody who was ever in SOG. Yeah,there are a few names that were left off by accident,but MY name is in the book. And I spoke about what I did in VN so little that not even my mother or my father knew what I had done when they went to their graves. They thought I was working in a army post office the whole time I was there because that's what I told them I was doing. I saw no need to worry them while I was there and once I got back there was no reason to tell them because they wouldn't understand it and because it was still Top Secret. And you KNOW I am who I say I am because even if you weren't around during the FR days,there are people on LP that have verified I am who I say I am because they either know me personally or people they know and trust know me and have verified my service. What's pitiful is that YOU think that you get to say who is and who is not a "real" vet. Once again you are lying. Probably because of that chip on your shoulder that REQUIRES you to think you are a combat veteran. You ain't. It's pretty simple,really. You were either in combat or you weren't.
