A former Ron Paul staffer named Eric Dondero, who worked closely with the Texas congressman and presidential candidate over the course of 15 years, has issued a statement in which he both defends his old boss from charges of racism and anti-Semitism and reveals damning new details about about the "sheer lunacy of [Paul's] foreign policy views". First, Dondero claims that his old boss is such an extreme isolationist that "he strenuously does not believe the United States had any business getting involved in fighting Hitler in WWII. He expressed to me countless times, that 'saving the Jews,' was absolutely none of our business." Second, Dondero writes that that Paul himself is a 9/11 conspiracy theorist: And lastly, Dondero reveals that Paul wanted to vote against the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 but lacked the courage of his convictions to do so: Ron Paul was opposed to the War in Afghanistan, and to any military reaction to the attacks of 9/11.He engaged in conspiracy theories including perhaps the attacks were coordinated with the CIA, and that the Bush administration might have known about the attacks ahead of time. He expressed no sympathies whatsoever for those who died on 9/11, and pretty much forbade us staffers from engaging in any sort of memorial expressions, or openly asserting pro-military statements in support of the Bush administration.
There is much more information I could give you on the sheer lunacy of his foreign policy views. Let me just concentrate on one in specific. And I will state this with absolute certainty:

A majority of Ron Paul's followers are Truthers, why would they follow someone who isn't one of them?

Sure, most RP supporters right here on LP are Truthers. Don't you ever read their comments? And then there's this thingy called Google on the internet, you can find all the evidence you need with it.
BTW, we're on LF, not LP. But while we're on the subject of Truthers, tell me, how is that CT any different than the "They hate us because we're free" CT that you and your neo buddies ascribe to, to justify endless war with any nation that your buddy Obama wants to attack?
Where did I use the They hate us because we're free argument? You have a link to that? No, no you don't because I never said it. What I have said is they hate us because were not Muslims and they want our stuff. And I have documented history, beginning in 7th Century, to back up my argument.

I know that if China or any other nation had been meddling in America's internal affairs, setting up countless military bases and putting thousands of armed soldiers on our streets, killing civilians, bombing St. Louis, Canton Ohio and Ft. Lauderdale, killing hundreds of thousands of Americans, and placing puppet governments in charge of America, I'd be pretty damned pissed myself. I'd wager that HQ would be right there fighting along side me too. Yet he cannot see that other nations might get pissed when we do it? It's ridiculous!

Have we been doing those things in the middle east or haven't we? Yes or no? The only thing I've swallowed is the truth, and believe me, it was hard pill to swallow, but it is what it is. If you think we're right all the time, just because we're America, then there's a term for that.
