Title: Ron Paul denies believing CIA behind 9/11, Rick Santorum milks poll surge as GOP braces for Iowa caucuses

Santorum has soared into third in Iowa, trailing just Paul and front-runner Mitt Romney, according to a key Des Moines Register survey.

ATLANTIC, IOWA — As the Iowa campaign moves into its final, frantic days, a slumping Ron Paul came out swinging Sunday to deny charges he believed the U.S. was behind the 9/11 terror attacks.

A longtime Paul aide claimed last week that the Texas congressman thought the CIA had a hand in bringing down the World Trade Center — and that President George W. Bush was tipped off ahead of time.

“That’s complete nonsense,” an angry Paul said on ABC’s “This Week.”

“Come on, let’s be reasonable. That’s just off the wall.”

Paul’s support in Iowa has slipped slightly amid revelations that his old campaign newsletters contained racist material. He currently stands second in the polls — barely ahead of the hard-charging Rick Santorum.

Santorum has soared into third in Iowa, trailing just Paul and front-runner Mitt Romney, according to a key Des Moines Register survey.

Santorum’s low-budget campaign — often just the candidate and one aide — has visited all of Iowa's 99 counties and has drawn the support of the state’s large evangelical population, experts noted.

“They favor very conservative, non-Mormon candidates,” said Larry Sabato, a political science professor at the University of Virginia. “They’ve looked to many non-Mitt contenders over the past year — now they’ve discovered Santorum.”

Although Santorum’s well-timed surge could give him a win in Tuesday's caucuses, it remains unclear if his campaign — which is poorly organized in states outside of Iowa — can give the well-oiled Romney machine a run for its money.

“There are many other places where his campaign isn't just weak, it’s nonexistent,” said Sabato.

Poster Comment:

The RNC and the media went into overtime to smear Paul when he started leading the polls. Hopefully they didn't do too much damage. We'll see Tuesday.

Ron Paul denies believing CIA behind 9/11

So who the are the voices in RP's head saying did it, the Illuminatis, Skull & Bones, Halliburton, Bush, Cheney, or the Mickey Mouse Club?

The ONLY ones that gained HUGELY form these attacks were the MIC and those advocating global government. Those that hate us for our freedoms are clearly in DC...they're destroying each and every one, as fast as they can. Why are our borders being FORCED to remain open if the government is concerned about "terrorism". False flags attacks are as old as governments, those that do not understand this need an education. Thanks WTP...you're a great American!

I would imagine it was aliens.

Or whoever the voices are in your head that makes you ask silly questions.

Rejection of 9/11 conspiracy theory

Paul does not believe the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks were a government conspiracy and has explicitly denied being a 9/11 "truther", arguing that the issue is not a conspiracy but a failure of bureaucracy.[68][69] He believes the 9/11 Commission Report's main goal was "to protect the government and to protect their ineptness—not […] to do this so they can use this as an excuse to spread the war […] Some who did want to spread the war would use it as an opportunity. But, it wasn't something that was deliberately done."[68][71] He does not think the government would have staged such an attack.[72] When asked whether "9/11 was orchestrated by the government", Paul responded, "Absolutely not."[73] Paul has stated that he is concerned that someone might create a "contrived Gulf of Tonkin-type incident" to justify the invasion of Iran or suspend the democratic process, adding, "Let's hope I'm wrong about this one."

Hmph! Imagine that! You're more off the wall than Ron Paul! Who would have guessed.

There are four boxes to be used in the defense of liberty: the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box and the ammo box. Please use in that order.

Why don't you ask the over 3,000 architects and engineers that say those building coming down from being hit by a plane is a fantasy...the only voices in your head are those of the MSM telling you what to believe. Quite being a follower and educate yourself, your posts make you look foolish. The earth is NOT flat.
