Here's my prediction for Nov., and it hinges on the GOP nomination.... Ron Paul *IS* the ONE that can beat Obama. In a Paul v Obama race... 1. Conservatives will vote for Paul. 2. Neoconservatives will vote for Paul just to boot Obama out. 3. Libertarians will vote for Paul. 4. A majority of Independents will vote for Paul. 5. Even some democrats will vote for Paul. Paul wins by a wide margin. If Gingrich or Romney are nominated... 1. Conservatives will vote 3rd party or stay home, like in '08. 2. Neoconservatives will vote the Republican ticket, but their numbers are shrinking. (Thank God!) 3. Libertarians will vote 3rd party. 4. A majority of Independents will vote 3rd party or for Obama. 5. Democrats will vote for Obama. Obama wins a second term.
Ron Paul will lose in Iowa. Ron Paul will lose in New Hampshire. Ron Paul will lose in South Carolina. Ron Paul will lose in Florida. Do you see a pattern here or have you drunk too much kool-aid?
The pattern seems to be. That for some Americans. It is more important to kill foreigners then to live in freedom.
Ron Paul endorsed Cynthia McKinney for POTUS in '08. I didn't think it was possible, but we could wind up with a dumber VPOTUS than Joe Biden.
And he's going to run 3rd Party. And the PaulTard Kool-Aiders + the ProgTard Kool-Aiders will put Barry Hussein Obama in the White House for another four years. I'm depressed, I feel an all day drunk coming on.
I do see a pattern. I see to many children and emotionally stunted adults infesting this forum. You could be right, then again, you may be wrong. But let's at least get on a level playing field here...who are you supporting?

On September 10, 2008, Paul confirmed his "open endorsement" (CNN) for the four candidates at a press conference in Washington D.C. He also revealed that he had rejected a request for an endorsement of John McCain. He later appeared on CNN's The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer with Nader where they presented and briefly described the four principles that all the independent candidates had agreed on as the most important issues of the presidential campaign. Let's get back to what I actually said. If (and that is an astronomical sized 'if') Paul gets the GOP nomination, he will beat Obama. If it's Gingrich or Romney, Obama wins. I explained why above. Do you doubt me?

I've heard that a LOT from the talking heads. I've heard that a ham sandwich could beat Obama. I don't believe it. If Gingrich or Romney are nominated, watch Obama start rising in the polls. Leftists and a majority of independents will return to the flock. They will not support neoconservatives, and neither will conservatives/libertarians. That's my prediction for Nov. Gingrich or Romney will hand another 4 years to Obama. Could I be wrong? Of course. But I don't think so.

The girl across the street voted for him. She wont this time. No way. My sister in law voted for him. No way in hell this time. One of my cousins voted for him. No way in hell this time. The lady who used to live across the street voted for him. She hates him now. A guy who works with me. His dad voted for Obama. He wont make that mistake again. I know that isn't exactly a scientific poll. But I encounter people all the time who despise him. Ad drive thrus, carryouts and people on the street I talk to. He is universally hated.
A lot of the folks that I work with voted for him, and they're planning to do so again. Like I said, I could be wrong. We'll see.

No, I would not. I could no more vote for Gingrich than I could Obama. I'd write in Ron Paul or vote for an acceptable 3rd party candidate, if there was one.

I disagree with this premise. Ron Paul has been treated fairly well by the Republicans this time out and his political legacy is invested with his son. I think Paul recognizes that enabling Obama to a second term will cause irreparable harm to the United States.
