Luckily my student loans won't be too much, at least in comparison with most other med school students. When I was laid off from my engineering position with the phone company I took a very high paying 18 month contract job as a project manager and lead network design engineer for the government of Colombia. When I came back we sold our farm and moved. Since I already had an engineering degree, getting a cell and molecular biology degree only took two years which I paid cash for. So all I will have in student loans will be my med school. By the way, Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas anyway. I am number four in my class which isn't too shabby for a 45 year old with a wife and two kids. Besides, not agreeing with your political philosophy does not make me unintelligent.
